btw bro you left your pants on my moms bed, when will you pick them up???
How many sticks per replacement box?
@@finduck307 one per box, at least it was when I originally bought it. If they are still selling them, check before you buy.
Mine isn’t compatible doesn’t work
Ok, but how much are the stick modules?
From where i can get the same sticke ?
Trim da leads
Yours came with replacements? Mine didn’t, just the thumb caps.
You have to buy them separately.
D
What i want is where to buy the stick modules
Where can i buy the sticks??
You can get them online from the PlayStation direct store. I did a quick search and found them on Amazon and GameStop online.
Take my card
R these special controllers or they all come apart
This is the Edge controller, different than the regular Dual Sense.
@happyfella89 can u put the module stick on a old controller if u take it apart still or only edge controllers?
@@yungeasymoney899 the sticks will only work with the Edge controller.
@@happyfella89 thanks I was gifted them bit don't have controller smh
@@yungeasymoney899 no problem, lol that's sucks
sony making dualsense stick drift a problem the. selling a 200$ solution with dualsense edge.
My old dualsense got stick drift. Seems a waste of money to keep buying new dualsense at $75 just for 1 stick. Going to make the investment into the dualsense edge - $20 stick change is a lot cheaper in the long run.
lol you better buy 4 or 6 of em because they sell out all the time and they go for tons of money when they sell out i'd cough up $100 and just keep them in storage and just use the paddles for stuff like running and pressing down on the thumbstick which is the main reason for it drifting. up until someone figures out how to make replica modules.
no more soldering 😭 thankyou verymuch
U don’t have to lie to make content
What lie did I tell?
He didn’t lie???? This was a genuinely helpful video
A lot easier than I thought! Thanks for sharing
You're welcome.
These are not with hall stick effect right?
I'm not sure, would be nice if they were.
I feel like my aiming has been off on the left thumbstick side,do yiu think its time to replace that side??something doesnt feel right im not dead accurate the way i was i thought it was a differ3fun i was using but im thinking its the controller..how long does it typically last??thanks
Switch the thumb stick you think is going out to the other side. Do some testing and see if the accuracy improves. That would help determine if it's the stick or you.
@@happyfella89 hey man thanks..good idea thanks
@@gregggorypecs2370 no problem
Now wondering how much thumb sticks going to cost now smh.
20$$
$20 for one
Gulikit makin hall sense edge modules soon
@@EmberAEGBETOwhere is that at? cheapest i see is 35 used and 50 everywhere else. sony wants 60
I regret buying this controller, for the cost it should come with 4 paddles not 2
I was disappointed it only came with 2 as well. I thought those buttons on each stick were going to be programmable as well.
Bro thank you nobody else talked about the release button 🙏🏽💪🏽
Happy to help
This is great...but what happens when one of the bumpers break?
Get a new controller or repair the bumpers yourself.
Why was this so hard to get info on?
I agree, once Sony moves on from something they don't care to maintain any documentation.
Lmfao
Easy peasey, japanesey. Now i have to go get a new controller...after tearing this one down and cleaning it twice.
Where do I purchase tho!?
Check on playstation.com. I preordered mine, unsure if they're even selling them anymore. That would be typical Sony if that's the case.
@@happyfella89 Preciate that boss. Just checked Best Buy gonna check ps
Holy shit dude
Impressed everyone
What about the back paddles? If one gets loose is there way to tighten it?
its magnetic I dont think it will ....also I try to actually knock it off and it wont unless I apply some level of effort
@@xPeaJay I like playing with it like a fidget toy while something’s loading lmao
But the catch is you have to basically purchase 3 controllers cause it cost 200$. And when analog drift kicks in every 3 months you gotta spend another 20 dollars, so you will spent the price of 5 controllers in a year. Next thing you know, next year it will be a new 500 dollar controller that actually fixes the drift, with a bunch of unnecessary features forcefully add it to it as an excuse for the price. Price of near 10 controllers. Gotta suck the customers dry of money. Wish there were better competitors with people who actually cared.
@@rtsue 200$ is equivalent to buying 3 base dualsense controllers...
@@rtsue but even still, you're getting 3x the quality and features! I usually don't go for these types of controllers so I purchased mine with full returns policy in ambition of trying it out and returning it... I kept it! It's so ergonomic but yet heavier than a Dualsense and as for the sticks if you get stick drift on 2 modules in 1 year, people who do, are clearly abusing it! When Gulikit bring their hall effect modules I'll be saying goodbye to stick drift (hopefully) forever! On the plus side, you can also check for stick drift with the Edge! Worth every penny if you have it...
This guy maths lmfao
Exactly.
Back buttons
Bro what are those stabs…
Stock stabs that came with the board. I lubed them but didn't balance them. Also the mic was picking up the higher frequencies for some reason, they don't sound that bad in person.
Those stabs😭
They are pretty bad. Always something to fix or work on
didnt know ps5 controller does that
This is the new Edge controller. The regular DualSense doesn't have this feature of changing the sticks.
It's not the stock controller.
Mine didn’t come with a extra module
Mine didn't either, they are sold separately.
@@happyfella89 oh ok thanks for the info!
@@vex9179 you got it! I bought 2 extra just to have, knowing Sony they won't be able to keep up with manufacturing.
Are they lubed
Yes, and filmed.
I want it!
What are the keycaps?
They are the PBTFans Deep Sea Predator kit.
Can u open to see the mechanics inside of ne of those stick modules
Not that I could see without disassembling the stick module itself, which I haven't done yet.
Its just the same as the normal controller only they put a plug on it to slide in and out instead of having to solder the analog sensor to the motherboard
🔥
So it’s nothing different than what it comes with originally right? It’s just another one incase you ruin the other one?
That's correct. You have to buy a new sick separately but it's no different then the ones the controller comes with.
Sony just found their new money making tool lul
LOL yup. Still better than buying a new controller though, the module is pretty cheap considering.
@@happyfella89 The controller is quite expensive though... $200 for it. I have two regular DualSense and both have stick drift now.
@@arianoangelo7243me2. Never dropped them or abused them. That's only reason I'm buying edge. I'm waiting and hoping on Black Friday it goes down to 149.99
@@arianoangelo7243a third one would run you over $200, what we needed was the edge only all along
I have the controller and yeah you're right. They probably make just as much on these as a controller and it's so much smaller. Smart fuckers. Software probably prevents 3rd party alternatives
Mine was delivered today. But im a trucker so I have to wait till I get home this weekend to use it. Looks like a great controller.
Thanks for being a trucker Tom, highly underrated profession. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, probably going to check it out after work.
We appreciate you for everything you do Mr. Tom
Thank you both. Us truckers don't hear that often.
I’m not saying this told you but they kinda ripped off the Xbox controller completely
I would disagree. They are similar for sure, but a rip off nah. The module changing capability alone proves that point.
Isn’t the whole point of a pro controller to make it the best one competing and so when wear and tear happens u have spare caps also case is the same throughout products
Super informative. You put here bringing the news to the people
Straight to the point, what the people want.
Smdh
Nice controller. Might have to get me one.
It's not bad from what I've seen so far, the price is pretty steep. The true test will be once I'm able to use it.
Man that sexy voice makes me want to buy one
Complete dusters
Lowest league possible lol
What mods?
Lubed and filmed the switches, lubed stabs, and bandaid mod.
