Deflated - A Blender Grease Pencil Animation
Переглядів 149Рік тому
A blue hominid discovers a balloon, which lifts his spirits. What could go wrong? Has he been here before? I animated part of this in Krita with an ffmpeg animation add-on and the rest in blender. Blender is excellent.

Thank you for the video, it was very inspiring. Glad you tried it out:)
PROUD OF YOU!!
Did you do group lessons? Or private lessons? 😮
How old are you now?
He might just be Bob Ross reincarnated
Nice just subbed
Super cool editing style!
Thanks!
omg thank you for this video
I'm so jealous of how smoothly you fall. I look like the world crashing down lmao Mate, no need to becoming a pro, just skate for fun! It's nice to learn new things and unlock skills. Hobbies are important. But totally normal if you don't feel like it anymore, it just seems like a shame to let all that work get lost
Wow you liked that performance? My favourite was Germany (obviously) couple's skating for 2018. Second favourite was Russia couple's skating 2002. And Sarah Hughes' electric performance in 2002. Clearly I have a thing for gold medal winners lol 😄
Beautifully conceived and executed. Did you do this in Blender?
Thank you! Yes. Blender was used for everything apart from editing and some compositing done in DaVinci Resolve!
Good talk. Thank you for honesty!

As always, it's a delight to watch you work your magic! Keep up the amazing work brother! Love this! Love you!
WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! YEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Wow, you mean you went straight from a waltz jump to an axel (off ice)??? (Only 1/4 through the video now) Your grit is super admirable!! Inspirational! How many hours a week did you practice?
Why stop skating. Just do it forever until the end of time.
Watching you easily do a teapot made me want to cry. I’ve been trying for two years and still cant
Get comfortable with the thought of failure. What's the worst that could happen? Maybe falling and breaking something. So practise falling safely until you're not afraid then commit yourself to learning. Good luck!
It's interesting, I got into ice skating 5 months ago as a means of learning solo physical expression on the ice, but in taking adult group lessons I found a small community of people who share in each other's progress. It's a shame to hear you felt isolated in your skating journey. I hope one day you return to the ice and find some enjoyment in that sensation of flight you felt before :D
your loop jump is absolutely gorgeous, the form is so clear and looks effortless!!
It’s so cool! Is that pineville ice house!? That’s where I go!!
It's a shame you stopped
Hello, bro! I started the same time and now have 2Lo and A near the same condition ))) Good luck in this very difficult sports kind especially for an adult
😱 Promo_SM
awesome work man, also loved the Scotty appearance
I loved the video. I also love skating, but I injured my leg and now I am still suffering with the injury and the doctor prevented me from skating. I am really sad (╥﹏╥)
Me as a11yr old figure skater who has been skating for 6 years confermed that i oly have axel,2 sal,2T,2L,2F,2L and learning 2A
where abouts do you skate coz I wanna learn with you so you wont be lonely. 😊
You are an inspiration❤️❤️❤️ I wanted to learn figure skating too but 😢
bro i cried
guy just did his first axel in 2 years, it took me like 3 and a half to start on ice
I am a kid figure skater and I have been skating for 5 years and your progress in that short of a time is just crazy! I learned how to do a scratch spin 1 year ago so that is crazy! Like howww😅
how inspirational... i just recently made a similar promise to myself after watching Aleksandr Galliamov and Anastasia Misina 's figure skating.... , I'm hoping to learn as much as you did in the next few years.
mitter diwector
gagrel
You started off fearless!!
this was actually hilarious. the Scotty cameo had me losing it
He's great XD
Man, you are awesome! As a father of two figure skaters i see adults training every day. This is INSANELY hard sport for adults. Keep rocking!
Henry your work never fails to amaze me. You are consistently improving and growing as an artist and it's truly inspiring to watch. It has been both an honor and a privilege getting to be a part of your projects over the last couple years and I can't wait to see what's next for you! I love you man, keep up the fantastic work!
i used to love rollerblading but the thing was i was skating in the house and i lived out in the middle of nowhere and the roads are to dangerous so where else was i supposed to skate??? but my mom said to stop skating in the house and....i had to give up on it. but this vidoe is inspiring and i am now 11 and i wanna pick up rollerblading again...but this was 4months ago so nobody woukd care about this comment anyways :/
I've been skating ever since I was 8, and now in a couple of weeks it will be 5 years ever since that day! I started like you, attempting the waltz jump, salchow, and toe loop. Then I moved on to bigger moves like loops and flips. After came the axels which took quite a while. I was able to finally be able to balance my camel sit a few weeks ago.. still proud of it lol. I wish you luck! Taking thirty falls is worth the one victory.
I started skating at 13 and I almost quit because I felt awkward being the only guy. It can be a lonely sport AND yes it's very expensive. I wish you would continue here and there because your progress was impressive. I put up my (bad quality) audition video on my channel and that was the end result of my practicing. I'm starting back up again because I don't want to lose even more of my ability but it's so hard now that I'm much older!
I checked out your channel! Your skating is very good! How was Disney on ice?
@@whalium889 Thanks! Disney was amazing. It was an incredible experience. I am pondering going back (that's why I'm practicing again). I made a lot of friends and the travel was a lot of fun!
What? Why you don't skate anymore? The only time I can really forget about any unpleasant life event is when I am on the ice. I am an adult skater that has been skating for over 20 years, and i still can't do double loop. So be proud of yourself. Haha
I relate to that! The world is quiet while on the ice.
I’ve been skating and playing Hockey since I was 12 . I started Driving The Zamboni At 16 . I Was Fortunate Enough To Work At 6 Different Rinks Over My Lifetime. People Have Know Idea That Figure Skating Starts With What’s Known As Patch Ice. Where You Take A Scribe And Make A Figure Eight. It Helps You Learn Your Inside And Outside Edges. Without These Skills You Won’t Have The Understanding Of Doing Your Jumps And Spins . Also The Ice Needs To Be Soft And Slow. Where Hockey Ice Needs To Be Harder And Faster . Which Means As A Zamboni Driver. You Have To Understand The Difference . Also understanding How To Tie Your Skates Is Vary Important .
Cool to hear your perspective and expertise!
Are you taking lessons during all of this time or just trying to get things on your own? You are showing a lack of technique and form which is holding you back from actually getting and improving the jumps and spins. You have to think of stepping up into an axle, get your height first and then the pull in for the rotation. Do no think about going around and hopping on the other foot. You have to think of jumping up first and then letting your other foot catch the jumping leg and then think of landing position in order to land the jump. You are like 3 inches off the ice. You need to take the jump upward by a foot. You need take off and landing positions and to stop breaking at the waist and looking down. The timing is also off. You have to set up the jump. Also, a professional needs to look at your skating equipment and evaluate whether it is holding you back and whether you have been fitted correctly. You had the potential, however, you probably needed a different coach.
It’s either Moulin Rouge or Origin
Hey! Professional Ice Dancer here!! i'm 14 years old and i actually used to skate at Pineville Ice House 4 years ago but now train year-round at extreme ice where you were probably approached by my current coach lol. Your take on ice dancing was very precise!
Haha! Cool coincidence. Dang, a pro at 14!
I admire you!
