Mama hen and her babies

2-3 day old chicks with their mom. This is the first hatch with this broody, and she has taken to the role perfectly. This is also the first day she has taken them out of the next to explore more. It was quite warm the day this was shot, you can see mama hen panting towards the end. I opened up the remaining coop doors after shooting this to help w/ airflow. The chicks are a barnyard mix of Rho...
Saturn Aura floors wet, leaky sun roof, QUICK FIX!
Переглядів 13 тис.9 років тому
This is a quick and dirty video discussing the sun roof leak of a Saturn Aura. The main symptom of this issue was the carpet of the passenger side would become totally soaked in heavy rains. This is an issue that could potentially result in a totaled car if not taken care of due to extensive water damage. If you want a step by step, fastener by fastener, please let me know in the comments secti...
10 minutes for what? hit the second tower?
@Skanu0 I had about 10 min left before I had to end the stream lol
Comedic timing lol
That's TwinSanity!
Crash 3?
Close!
so clutch
Thank you
Quite welcome! ^_^
I appreciate you pointing where it should be draining from on the door jam
Hi! I am a single mom and got a 2009 Saturn Aura for my teenager. Suddenly we get a great deal of rain in Texas and it puddled up front passenger side. Thank you and blessings for posting this video because you helped me tremendously.
hey there i js bought a 2007 saturn aura an i cant find sunrrof to save my life i called the gmc place an they said they discontinued making sunroofs for them, do you know where ican find one
Hi there! I think it will depend on which component you're looking for or if you're looking for the whole assembly; frame, track, glass, and all. I did a quick search and do see where some of the main components are listed as discontinued with is obviously frustrating to see. Given that seems to be the case your best solution for sourcing parts may be your local parts yard, craigslist, Facebook marketplace or eBay. If you only need certain parts, like the glass for example, there may be some aftermarket manufacturers still making replacements. I hope this helps and can get you on your way to patching things up!
Perfect!! Exactly the problem I had on a 2009. Thank you!
Glad this helped ^_^
Thank you only other problem is it cause something to go bad it would start but after you stop and try to start it again it wouldn't start until you let it sit a while then it will start
It's one side or both??
Yea should be one on each side
I've got the same exact problem, but on the driver side. Do you know if there is another line just like, that on the other side of the sunroof?
To the best of my knowledge there is a drain tube on each side. I've never serviced the driver side but it seems plausible the same issue could exist.
@@HeckinTeagan You are correct. Just fixed it. The water was dripping onto my fuse box under the dash and giving a bunch of problems and codes. Wouldn't have know what to do if it wasn't for you, so thanks a bunch!!! My car has no problems now and saved me from paying a mechanic.
@@andrewr.7944 I'm really glad to hear you were able to get it fixed up, and happy to know I was able to help ^_^.
Thank you sooooo much!!! My issue was getting sooo bad, soaked floor on DRIVER’s side. You were right, the hose was disconnected! I had to replace the driver’s side visor for over a year now, so two birds one stone. I really hope it resolves this embarrassing issue. Thank you x a million.
Worked just like you said. Thanks
Glad to hear!
Teagan I’ve been searching for this for a while.
Showing the locations of the drain tube and where the water exits was a tremendous help. Thanks.
Glad to know I was able to help you!
Is there a drain hole in each corner or only on front two corners
If I recall correctly there is one in each front corner of the sunroof. Not the rear of it though.
@@HeckinTeagan yes only front I found a drawing from GM with the part numbers again thanks for your help I have carpet pulled up In corner the foam underneath was just saturated this has been a long process
Thanks for the help mine was completely off took five minutes just like you said took longer to get ice off the floors
Glad to know it helped! Bummer about the ice, but as long as you got it cleaned up, that's good stuff ^_^
@@HeckinTeagan I have a great picture I wish I could share it
Were you able to access the tube even without removing the sun visor completely? I’m having trouble reaching my tube even though I unscrewed the visor like you said.
Hi Colleen, I was able to access the tube without fully removing the visor. Sorry you're having trouble. It was a tight fit getting to the tube.
Hello could this cause my ceiling to be all wet as well in my 2009 Saturn
Seems like it definitely could be. It's hard to say without looking at it.
You are lifesaver! I have been looking for a solution to this problem! Thank you for posting this video!!!!
Hey, I'm really glad to hear this helped you fix your problem. cheers.
Hi ducks! Thanks for vid I had same problem on 2007 Saturn aura
Hi Darren, I hope this helped you solve it! Thanks!
Also, how do you pull off the ceiling foam after pulling off the a pillar panel?
Hi Josh, at the 1:58 mark you can kind of see what I"m doing. I didn't pull the full headliner down, just kind of wedged it down a bit so I could get at the tube. If I remember correctly, the headliner is kind of tucked behind the piece of soft rubber running along the door. I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Yes, sir! It helped me out! I managed to reattach the hose! Thanks a ton!
Really glad to hear josh! I'm glad I could help. Only thing I will say is that I did have it disconnect on me a couple more times before I ultimately used a little epoxy on it. I don't want to blanketly suggest that, as you need to decide if you're willing to glue that connection. I did find that after I used a small amount of 2 part epoxy on the tube connection, it no longer came apart. I had tried other adhesives including super glue and E6000, with no luck. If it comes apart again, this is something to consider. Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that before, I just forgot since it's been a while! Cheers
Just experienced this problem with my 08 Saturn Aura. I thought it was because of my sagging door but this makes perfect sense considering the water is coming from the exact same place you pointed out. It is on my driver side and totally used a towel to save my carpet in my car...
Thanks for your help. Took me about 30 min. But I fixed it. Yes it was that plug disconnected. I see all the other comments with the same problem. WOW GM. It has to be Their fault. We definitely didn’t go in there and disconnect it. What the hell caused that to come loose on all these people’s vehicles.
When I have time I am gonna take a look just today I had to vacuum out the back of the driver side and some of the drivers floor. This was the worst I have dealt with. I have been waiting for a year or so on how to fix this without having to break anything. I am sure this is gonna help fix it. Thanks a lot!
Glad I could help Spencer! Definitely hope you get time to tear into it soon. I had to jump on this issue w/ a quickness because I didn't want to risk any kind of mold/rust/etc type damage. I had to do it once again in teh same car, the superglue bond broke. I used Gorilla Glue clear epoxy and so far that has held up for at least a year.
Is their anyway to start a petition for this stupid problem? GM won't even admit to owning up to it, I'm never buying a GM vehicle again! Thank you for making the video by the way, will try it once I get home!
Hi Jabran. Unfortunately I personally don't know of a good way to go about getting GM to own up to any potential issues regarding this. I wish I could be of more help on that. You're very welcome for the video, I hope it helps you solve your issue. Let me know how it goes!
Got it to work, the video was very helpful
Awesome man! I'm really glad I could help :). Good work!
Super! Took me about 15 mins after watching your video and yep, the small drain tube that should have been in the connector above the headliner was disconnected, so any water from the sunroof just drained into the headliner and down the pillars. I blew in the hose and it wasn't stopped up, so it was simple to put some superglue on the end of the tube, grab it with needle nose pliers and fit it back into the rubber connector, then snap everything back in place. Thanks very much for the video & solution!
Thank you so much for this Video!!! I have been dealing with electrical issues for the last year. The dealer could not figure it out. it only happened when it rained. And my a-pillar trim would be soaking wet. finally tracked it down on intenet comments, and you video walked me through it perfectly. 30 minutes including testing and it's fixed! I wonder if I can bill the dealer for my time?
Hi Tina, I'm glad this video helped you fix your issue. This is an issue that impacts many people who own these vehicles, and it was hard to find any videos showing the repair. Unfortunately I'd imagine you can't bill the dealer, lol. Please share the video with anyone else who may have similar problems. Thanks for viewing!
I have the same problem with my 08 aura, so thank you for posting this.
+Trip Duece Glad I could help you out :)
