Always fascinated by Escher's works. I still have a CD ROM from way back, late '80s?. The images on it are low res, reflecting the tech of the time. But one thing on the CD was an Escher like _tessellation_ program, with which you could make your own tessellations - not that easy to make the two _shapes_ interact to make recognisable birds, animals, whatever 🙂. Unfortunately it will not run on todays Windows PCs. Nice one!

As I mentioned in a previous video, if only it was possible to have video footage of the construction of ancient buildings. There is a site of a Roman villa about a mile from where I live, although just the foundations left. Less than a mile from this is the remains of Bradwell Abbey, though again, only traces of the foundations are left, except a small chapel, which is still complete. Those Roman's certainly got about. Interesting video, thanks UA.

Here is a little slice of American history that I believe everyone should see. Very powerful, and fascinating to see such blunt truths originally airing on CBS. I believe most white Americans have been sheltered and segregated from this type of harsh reality. Please share this with someone; you know that you know somebody who should see this.
