Ur statement is fair enough but I will say from personal experience that theres nothing better than knowing a mu well enough that run of the mill players cant touch u. Theres plenty of counterplay in that mu, its just that king gets boosted to a certain level just by existing. Hence why a mouth breathing king player can get to bushin. But they will stay there and u will keep climbing cos youre actually learning the game and not how to cheese with king Fuk drag tho

Not necessarily, it’s just my personal easiest route to do which is really hard to drop lol. She has a lot of variety, that was just what I was comfortable with at the time.

Well if we‘re honest it’s just visual noise. A wavu in its stead has simply more options and can delay and readjust for steps on top. The strength of it in my opinion is that it’s rarely used and people get confused when they see it and get caught during that moment of unfamiliarity

​@@Mhystralif you overuse it, ofcourse it will be bad, but 1+4 realiably high crushes. Also, its part of Reina's kit to have many stances and options, why not use them?

@@Mhystral I disagree lol, I think it’s extremely strong. I mean, you literally get access to a high crushing perfect electric that doesn’t require you to move forward minimizing your hitbox, it makes a huge difference on offense and defense. If you have a read on someone, it makes a world of difference. Imagine getting launch punished by an electric for doing a jab or any high move. (And if you were wrong and they block it, +5 anyways). And I use it all the time to punish high strings with electric because it’s easier than crouching and then having to do the usual electric input. I just do 1+4, df2 and bam. Not to mention the way you can chain it with other things. I might make a full vid on it in the future because there’s a lot of other stuff you can do with it also 🐊

Fc df4 got nerfed to not even really high crush anymore. Fc df3 still has good crushing but that’s launch punishable whereas something like 1+4, electric even if blocked leaves you at +5.

If you’re just ducking and looking for a high to punish tho, the safe option yes is to duck and once you see the high, fc df4.
