Inside lights are all on, sign lights are on, menu lights are on, parking lot lights are on. If they just shut off their lights except for security lights, they would not only save a fortune in electricity but avoid these misunderstandings. When I first moved into the area, I pulled up thinking they were open once but after 30 seconds I realized no one was there and left. 5 more cars pulled in as I was leaving.
See this all the time. People lined up at a fast food place and you see the sign says closed. All the lights are off. That fast food tunnel vision is real.
