I play drums, bass and guitar and like making songs. This channel is a record of most of my practicing each day.

thank you for sharing this ....these drums sound really fresh with precise tuning, I noticed. excellent timing and implementation of multiple percussive techniques. ...31:00 mk nice change-up leading into solo
Great video, but please learn to record in anything higher than 480p. It's not the 90's anymore
the videos take too long to upload then. My intention isn't to show high quality content, just keeping track of my practice hours each day.
also big fan of ur channel btw
Good man, now show us how to be as half as good as you are
It's what this channel is about, showing all the consistent practice it takes to improve your skills
People watching this video are really polite.
Yea, they're so awesome 🙏🙏
The sequel we all waited for!!
Appreciate it 🤙
Can’t wait for part 2!!!
Ur in luck 👀
sounds good!
Thank you so much!
This is not practicing. this is playing.
I get what you mean, especially at the start when I'm practicing all these different ideas. However, I still count this as practice according to my goals. I'm currently working on a diploma that requires me to learn all these different songs but during this practice session, my focus was on a big band competition coming up, so I warmed up by just getting a feel for the diploma songs to just maintain my progress and get into the 'drumming headspace'. Then I did more focused practice over 2 big improvised solos that I had to do for the competition. It sounds like noodling because at that point, I was practicing how the overall solos would sound like on the gig and I was getting used to soloing over a fast tempo without slowing down.
Good work. 👍🏼
Thank you so much!
Inspiring shit man
Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear that I'm inspiring people 🙏
where is your drum school ?
I go to ACG Strathallan. It's not solely a music school, but I take a music class there which assesses my drumming performance
cool jazz ... you have a discerning ear for hi-fidelity sound- I recommend a fanned fret multi-scale guitar they have excellent presence-and always sound fresh and lively- I would try Novax guitars - you can play bass lines on a 6 string and it really sounds like a Bass player is accompanying the guitarist- it;s so realistic-
I hadn't even heard of Novax guitars until now and they seem interesting, thank you for the insight!
sick🔥
Thank you so much!
great job
Thank you so much!
World Class drumming- and steady rhythms- excellent practice session
Thank you so much!
4:34 so clean!
Thanks man 🙏
Yo what's up bro, do you use heel up or heel down? I like to use a mixture of both. When I play fast I use heel up and can get soft/loud hits. Heel down is harder to get loud hits but possible, I use that for slower stuff. I'm not a fan of burying the beater or the sticks hbu?
Thanks for the questions! I used to be a heel-down player so I found heel-down to be easier to be more precise with my timing. However, I've switched to heel up for everything now and find that I can be just as precise while being able to be much louder when I can. Also, you hit the nail on the head with burying the beater. I always tell my students to not get into the habit of burying it because when you want to play fast, you want the beater to automatically spring back to be loaded for the next hit, otherwise you spend time lifting the beater back up which requires more motion needed. Also, I find that letting the beater spring back helps me be more relaxed with my foot when playing because I don't need to push it fully down the whole time. Hope that helps 👍
hey man this is awesome! Hearing all the ideas you come up with makes me want to practice more lol. cheers
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much!
You sound really good, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!
Nice double bass pedal work man! You should check out Territory by sepultura, it be so cool if you did the intro.
thank you so much! That's such a cool intro, thanks for the recommendation 👍
You're a good player!
Thank you so much!
😎
Congrats on 1st place! 🎉🎉🎉 I never say anything but your videos are appreciated, have a good one
That's so amazing to hear, I'm honoured. Thank you so much!
good luck man
Thank you 🙏🙏
❤❤super❤❤
Thank you so much!
is it more comfortable to wear the headphones upside down? I find that mine dig into my head, do you have this issue? Also that is some really good kick work, im impressed. Do you ever get pain under your nails from playing alot, i do lol.
Yea, these headphones dig into my head a little bit, but the main reason I wear them upside down is so it doesn't make my hair look too squashed afterwards 😂. Also, yes I sometimes felt a little uncomfortable under my thumb nail when I would work on hand technique because I would use the french grip and it sometimes moved against my thumb a bit. However, I don't feel it now because I'm used to it and I've relaxed my hands more when playing.
@@boringpracticingcontent thanks man!
Ride that china-boy!
This inspired me thanks man🙌🏼

@@boringpracticingcontent damn thats so cool keep it up! i've just started playing drums
@@user-nx6oo7bu2f that's awesome, I wish you the best for your drumming journey!

thank you so much!
Cool😎
Great stuff! Learn one of our songs!
I've wanted to make content exactly like this for guitar! I never learned how to practice effectively until I began to focus specifically on it. I think it can really catch on, if that's a goal of yours. I just watched the whole video, and I'm not even a drummer. There's a lot to pick up on here. Subscribed and good luck! 🎶
Thank you so much! I would highly recommend you make content like this because I always struggled with practicing consistently but my practice skyrocketed once I started posting regularly.
Give up, you suck
no bro im quite good at drumming
also more importantly, i really enjoy drumming
awesome! Keep it up man!!
also wish you luck on your diploma

I would like to apologize to this young man for my previous comment. It was wrong. Practicing drums can be boring to do and boring to watch, but essential to becoming a great drummer. All our drumming heros have excellent work ethics and that is why they get so good at the drums. Great job - keep up the good work and you will be a killer drummer.

thank you for admitting your wrongdoings, respect🙌
No hard feelings, I'm glad you appreciate the drumming :)
@boringpracticingcontent thanks for the comment. I felt completely ashamed of myself.for leaving the comment and it is honestly not the norm.for me at all as I have taught many younger people music and love to see others enjoy drumming. Wishing you the best in your musical journey.
Your're doing really well! Your mum and I are so proud of you :)
