You're so entertaining to watch! Though most resources you are going to need at some point so you're better off hoarding everything you can, commissions are the biggest money maker in this game :) I did the same thing as you at the start and then had issues when I needed certain resoucres for a quest and didn't have any 😅 Also just letting you know if you skip side quests you won't get the chance to do them again and miss out on xp and other rewards, and it's also worth making friends with the townies as it can give you bonuses like discounts at their shops and some will eventually send you gifts, my fomo won't let me skip anything in this kind of game but everyone plays differently so play at your own pace, just thought this would be helpful :)
Thanks for the advice... I realised near the end of my time with the game a lot of that and by then I was too deep in and I wish I knew all this when I started. I ended up just getting frustrated with it and moving onto another game, but if I return I will keep this in mind. Thank you for the help :)
@@FriendlyNewbCraft You're welcome, it really is such a great game but it can be pretty overwhelming at the start and it's easy to miss things, I certainly felt that myself, but now 50 hours in I'm obssessed, and I've still go a long ways to go as it's a huge game with a big story. It's definitely a game worth giving another go in the future :)
@@SapphireRavenmoon I lasted 50 days... But I agree on the overwhelming part, I think that is why I stopped :S I am glad you found a game to love, I wish more people would... With all the negativity it feels like some people haven't found that game...the one game to rule them all!

If you find the days are feeling too short you can slow down time in the settings, I prefer playing on 0.6 as I get distracted a lot and it means I get plenty of time to do everyhting I want to do in a day
I saw that, but I wanted to try to play like the default settings. Trying to experience it how they intended so I got the feel of the game, slower and shorter days I would do outside of the series. But thank you for the advice and taking the time to comment :)
