What i did was i used the thrust stance with 2 - 3 focus points and kept my distance while doing it up untill he was about 30% health then used pluck of many froze him and ate the pill that makes damage much stronger and my umbral abyss transformation the mokey with wings. Its tedious but it worked for me after being stuck on him for hours thats the way i found it patience cuz ur only getting damage done by using focus points with thrus stance.
