#HitTheRoad is a personal travel blog that documents roadtrips, weekend excursions and all sorts of unplanned travels across India. It is run by Bhavya Chauhan (me!), a graduate from Delhi University, and certainly unemployed enough to seek some 'higher meaning in life'.
The one thing that I find truly transforming is traveling and I'm beginning to realise that it is perhaps my ultimate calling. (How wild is that idea for a single girl-child in a brown family?)
Anyways, I was born and brought up in Shimla, which is where I currently live and which is where most of my journeys start from.
This channel will take you through the fun and chaos of many-a-roadtrips, often undertaken without a plan, sometimes even without a clear destination! We #HitTheRoad and see where it takes us!

What do I even say? It is so exciting to meet new people! I have always been amazed by the kind of stories that emerge out of simple conversations. You come across someone, you observe them for a bit, then you try to spin your own stories about them and almost establish a subconscious image of them. But then a few days pass and you get a chance to talk to them, if you're lucky, they want to tal...
