I am a podcaster/broadcaster with 37 years of experience as a radio presenter with the BBC. I present and produce a number of podcasts including 'Just Imagine' for Imagine Theatre and 'Curve In Conversation' for Curve Theatre. I'm also an actor with more than 30 years of Pantomime experience and the stadium announcer for the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club. This channel includes playlists on a variety of subjects from Celebrity birthdays and my BBC career to Panto videos and home vlogs.

The actress, comedian and impressionist Janet Brown was born on 14th December.

Her career started during World War II when she enlisted in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, and was the first female performer to take part in Stars in Battledress. She made her film debut in 1948 and appeared in Folly to Be Wise (1952), and several British television series, such as The Eric Barker Half-Hour (1952), How Do You View? (1952-1953) and Friends and Neighbours (1954). She later became better known as an impressionist and gained increasing prominence because of her realistic impression of the Tory politician, Margaret Thatcher. She performed as Thatcher on BBC TV's Mike Yarwood Show, on BBC Radio's The News Huddlines, and on film in the 1981 James Bond film, For Your Eyes Only.
Janet was married to Carry On actor Peter Butterworth from 1946 until his death in 1979. They appeared together in the television comedy series How Do You View? (1947-53), written by and starring Terry-Thomas and the 1972 film, Bless This House.
