1:53 real man moment right there, he went up to bat for his better half. don’t talk about my girl that way. he didn’t show it, but if somebody either copped the field or tried to make a play for her, if betty didn’t shut the guy down, and if Allen saw it, or if they dragged her, allen would be that dude to stand up front and get it on.
betty was a one and done gal! this was her one.
Allen and Betty were the cutest couple when it came to game shows. I love them.

Darn I hate that guy's stupid laugh !!! It kind of messes this video up ,
I may sound weird but I always imagine that Allen Ludden smelled like "Old Spice".
I totally get that. Allen Ludden did seem like an Old Spice-y guy. I think there is nothing as attractive as a man who smells good. I grew up in the 1970's, when men's aftershave lotion was a big deal, in North American culture. There were so many different choices available back then. I could probably name a dozen brands, just off the top of my head. Not gonna do that here.
