Thanks for explaining what your and Jorge’s situation is like. I think it’s great that you already consider yourselves as husband and wife, but like the woman in the video was saying, without being legally married, neither of you would have any say in the other’s estate or wellbeing if something bad were to happen. We don’t always want to think about these things but as the Bible says, the rain falls on the just and the unjust, so we never know what the future holds but it’s best to plan for it. Also, don’t get caught up in the trappings of these big lavish weddings. You don’t need a big wedding to get married. The only thing that’s required is a marriage license and a date at the courthouse or with a minister or whoever you wanna get married by, and those aren’t very expensive. The wedding is just a party and you can have that any old time. Vow renewals are a big thing as well these days. I’ve just seen too many of my friends who wanted to get married but ended up having kids first delay getting married for years upon years because they didn’t wanna just have a shotgun wedding, and I understand that, but at the end of the day, you’re more than likely to keep putting it off because something or other to do with the kids will be more important than putting $50K+ towards a wedding. And as someone who’s been married for over 11 years, if we could’ve done it over again, we would’ve rather saved our money and put it towards a house or something like that. And we didn’t even spend more than $20K on our wedding. I don’t know too many people who don’t regret wasting a ton of money on a wedding, but I know everyone wants to have the experience for themselves. I would just suggest saving yourself some money and doing a destination wedding. Whoever wants to be there for you will be there and you’ll see very quickly who the people are who actually care about you. All this to say, don’t worry about who got married and who’s now divorced or what other people and the government’s definition of marriage is. Get married for yourself and the future of your family and because you believe that’s what God wants for you. I’m rooting for you guys! All the best 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🫶🏾

Mane if i could see women without makeup id pass them from the jump
Huh? And pass onto who??
@Destini_Amirah pass like good bye are you slow or something I can see based on your videos you don't have any self awareness but God bless you sista
TOO SLOW TO READ UA-cam COMMENTS??!? #youtubeshorts #funny
@@Destini_Amirah are you a goofy?
I can’t lie, I was nervous about what you’d say going into this video but you hit the nail on its head with every point! People in relationships need to stop taking advice from single people!!! I don’t care if it’s your single momma or your single bestie. They might be well-intentioned but they’re single for a reason! I’ve seen it happen time and time again, even with people in my own family and it hurts my heart. I’m so glad you came to these conclusions while still in your 20s cause people decades older than you are still figuring it out and learning the hard way. Please continue spreading the message and I pray you and Jorge have a long life together. Be blessed 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Hey D, thanks for the comment! I hope you’re well and have much blessings and abundance. I totally agree with you!!! I had all kinds of issues in my relationship when I was taking advice from social media (it was so bad that I’m thinking of doing a story time 😂😂). But I was younger and lacked guidance, so I understand why some women run to social media when they’re having relationship problems.
You lose so much weight and you look so good!!
Thank you 😀
Did I miss any tips? :)
I have been licensed and successfully doing hair for almost 15yrs & I don’t let anyone do my hair lol. If you need a cut (trim your hair yourself), color, or chemical, go to the salon. Otherwise, DIY 🤌🏽
😂He’s a keeper ❤
Right when you said. Don't use rubber bands I gagged cause I literally have them in my hair lol I did the big chop so my hair is too short to put in braids any suggestions?
Why do fat chicks spend so much time finding weird ways of be better than someone else... literally anything except losing weight
Beautiful hair queen ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, please, for how long do you leave your big braids, i mean, this type you installed? A week or more?
Usually 2.5 weeks at most. Because if not my new growth starts to come in and gets tangled with the rest of my hair.
when i say i look bad and she she says “girl? that ain’t true cause i gave birth to you” 😭
Giving out free pins for the most creative reason a mom could say that 😂😂
Beautiful girl 😊😊
Me & my mom are twins ❤️
Maybe put a little bit of ice on it for a little everyday and if it gets worse maybe like make sure ur room is like really clean it could have just been an allergic reaction to something ❤❤❤❤ also I love ur vids can I get a pin I subscribed
Aww thank you so much. That made me smile :). Pinned!

On a more serious note: I don’t know why I woke up to a swollen lip. If someone could help, that would be great lol.
i love your hairr 😍
I am so impressed with your ability to write sideways like that
that’s hilarious because every single woman/ all the highest richest women came from divorce. They didn’t make it on their own.
The biggest variable of what prevents success in the hood is single motherhood. The biggest variable for wealth and generation wealth is marriage. Single motherhood repels wealth and attracts poverty.
What causes single motherhood?

It’s interesting on everyone’s personal take of themselves. My insecurity has been my height, I’ve been 6ft since I was 12 😟. Now I’m 45
you look like a princess no matter how you have your hair🥰
This ❤
I had a mom who acted just like this. I’m sorry you had to go through this too
Wow , beautiful ❤
Thank you ❤️
That is a super large container of that gel. Didn’t know you could get it in that size. When I was pregnant with my son, my hair grew to waist length, it had never grown that long before
It says “gold of Spain!” ❤❤❤
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
You're not alone sis. Thanks for sharing a bit of your story. I too, grew up with a toxic mother. If it wasn't belittling me in front of others, it was intimidation. So aggressive, everyone would be tippy toeing never knowing what mood she was going to he in. Never admitting fault and you dare not speak up and tell her because of course that's disrepect. But the funny thing is, still treating you like a little child even as a grown adult. The sweet Grace of God is all that has made me even start a relationship again. Even then, its not how it should be. I dont think it ever will he but like you said, I want to be the mother I never had for my children. I see how being shut up for years has affected me in my marriage and social interactions in general. You're doing an awesome job and God is with us.🙏🏾🫂
Your patronizing tone is not helping. My relaxed aunt has super long hair, not to mention women like HairliciousInc, meanwhile I don't get past above shoulder length as a 💫nAtuRaLisTa💫... I'm over the natural thing. I'm straightening my hair this year, the girls are more chill and less judgemental on the other side of YT.
Please do a story time! I went through similar issues and never had really anyone who look like me speak on this !
You should do a video on how you met ! Especially since you said you love people soul and your Christian !
Braid me next!!!!
You are beautiful girl
Hair doesn’t have muscles hun. I know what you’re trying to say but the muscle part just made you sound dumb.
😂😂😂
One good way to help heal your childhood trauma and pain, is to love your own children and help give them the kind of childhood you wish you'd had. You can honor your inner child and heal her wounds by being joyous with your kids and getting to know them as the little individuals they are. I am sorry you had an abusive childhood, and at the same time, it's amazing that your eyes are opening at such a young age (I was 60 when I finally woke up) because now you can parent your boys in a loving, healthy way so that they never have to feel like we did. I wish you all the best and continued success in your journey. Dr Jerry Wise, Dr. Romani, Patrick Teahan and Dr. Les Carter all have helped me identify and verbalize the narcissistic ab*se I suffered and they all have UA-cam channels. I recognize that this wasn't an easy video for you make - I applaud your bravery for stepping out of your comfort zone and not only making it, but leaving it up. Keep healing and know that you are more than enough and you are not alone. 💜💜
You are so beautiful ❤️
Thank you!!
Only ever seen it at the store/had it ONCE 🙌🏽 & babyyyyyy!! Lemme tell you 😭 I loved it too! 🤞🏽💓✨ lol fr it was so sooo good
Right!! 🤣🤣
Well said!!
Good luck with that. You live in the first world country.
I’m so serious: can you explain?
Clearly I need to work on my knee balance lol 😂
Your hair is weak. Curly hair can be prone to breakage, but that has nothing to do with race or ethnicity. That’s all genetics and environment. Don’t generalize black women into categories in terms of hair and then expect not to be stereotyped in other areas. There is no scientific evidence that states that African American women have weak hair. Anyone of any race with curly hair that has fine to medium density of the individual hair strands can and will be susceptible to damage. It is obvious that you have fewer layers of cuticle and a finer texture than others, but this “advice” doesn’t apply to those of us with well hydrated and moisturized hair that have coarse texture. You should learn to speak for yourself and stay in your lane, because with that one size fits all mentality someone is going to end up blaming you when they go wrong.
Feel better now? Anyways to correct you, you’re referring to my medulla layer causing my hair to be fine, not my cuticle. I posted a video on hair density explaining the different layers. You should check it; there’s so much to learn.
@@Destini_Amirah No, I’m not. Hunny I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor for over 15 years. The medulla doesn’t change the size of the hair strands. The layers of cuticles, (much like the bark on a tree) however, does! Try that again with someone who doesn’t know better.
“The hair shaft comprises a cortex, surrounding cuticle cells, and sometimes a central medulla found in THICKER hair.” Source: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK499948/ Last Updated: July 30, 2023. Seems like it may be time to get a license renewal. Just a thought…
I have dimples those aren’t dimples they’re just smile lines
No, they aren’t srry😅
Good video! I do want to say that heat training vs. heat damage is two different things. Heat training is a temporary thing that once you wash your hair, your curls come right back. With heat damage, the curls do not return.
you’re gorgeous 😍!!!!
Those would be smile lines dimples are farther. But they are just as beautiful ❤
