College spring break trip to los angeles, california! Would go again for the festivals, food, and fun nightlife minus the traffic. The traffic was bad. But LA is a cool place and UCLA is the second best big 10 school imo (besides umd lol)

Thank you Stanley. We used to live in Maryland, now North Carolina. My son almost applied for exactly the kind of schools you did, and similarly he didn't get into UNC-chapel hill. He is interested in Engineering. Now we are trying to decide among UNC Charlotte, UMD, V-tech and Penn state. Of course Charlotte is instate for us. We are leaning towards either UMD (for the ranking) or Charlotte (for less $$).
my son might choose to go to UMD. videos of this sort make me worry about his future metal and physical health in college, lol.
Can you tell what are good dorms for graduate students? Graduate hills is not recommended by many people
Im not a graduate student but there are no specific dorms for grad students I dont believe. You will most likely have to find off campus housing. The view and the varsity are the most established apartment complexes near campus!
