The Week Before Solved FNAF 1's Timeline... And Everyone Missed It (Theory)
Переглядів 214 тис.Місяць тому
Five Nights at Freddy's The Week Before has everyone discussing the franchise's first release a full decade after everyone thought it was solved. But one detail is being misinterpreted by EVERYONE in the FNAF community, and I'm here to set the record straight on FNAF 1's timeline placement with my first video theory. ★ TABLE OF CONTENTS ★ 0:00 Intro 1:52 Nineties Evidence 5:04 The Reopening 9:5...
The only problem I have with this theory and it’s a pretty big one is that Help Wanted 2 Tells us the order of the deaths of the children. Your timeline contradicts those.
Fnaf 1 is most likely set in 1989
No FNAF one happens in 2003
I get your argument for the 2 lit eyes vs 1 eye on golden freddy, but if that were the case two things, 1. Why doesnt that happen on the others? And 2. It wouldve been easy to edit that out or just dim it even more in the one eye. But chose not to.
So answer to those questions would be: It does happen on Bonnie and Chica, but as they're turned to the side it's harder to tell. It happens very clearly on Freddy, but two things make him different. One is that his fur is brown which wouldn't catch the light as much as Golden Freddy's, and the other is that his light isn't as bright. Golden Freddy's light is certainly brighter to create that full silhouette. I'd go so far as to argue Scott WANTED both eyes visible (hence why he wouldn't edit it) so that we could tell it was Golden Freddy. But that doesn't mean it was intentional to tell us two spirits were there. If that were the case, there would be two eyelights inside of Golden Freddy's mask, not one which illuminates both sockets. If you think there are two lights, just look again at the brightened up version which I show at 23:50. There's one light which you can see by the warm ring around his eye. Also also, I don't think Scott intended there two be two Golden Freddy spirits until much later (but that'll be a topic of another upcoming video).

First video I’ve seen of yours, really good!! Also FINALLY someone who agrees the odor thing isn’t good evidence I 100% agree it’s after fnaf 1, both because molten mci and the cutscene you mentioned. If I had to guess, it’s probably a bit closer to fnaf 3 than 1, but semantics at that point
i alr knew about this part of lore, since i knew the layout of fnaf 1 and compared it to the minigame. they seemed to be similar.
No William was spring locked in fnaf 1 why because one the back room we see During fnaf 1 he was spring locked after he dismantled the kids in the fnaf 3 mini game Only the guides are canon along with the mimic no other story is canon to the games end of story
I'm not suggesting the story I referenced is canon, only that it gives hints at worldbuilding. And even without that evidence, we have no reason to believe that the FNAF 3 minigames take place DURING FNAF 1. Considering the fact that the building is the same as FNAF 1 and it's seemingly abandoned, we can most likely say that it happened after FNAF 1.
If people watched Dawko's most recent interview with Scott, it has been confirmed that he himself has made flaws throughout the games where he wanted to expand lores more. But as the game world expands, some becomes irrelevant to what he wanted so some are left as they are, particularly the famous 'what's contained in the box'. Many criticise him so much, don't focus so much on analysing the games themselves. A story is a story, Scott even hinted in one of the characters in fnaf CN (correct me if I'm wrong of the game name.)
Rockstar Bonnie was made from the parts of FNAF1 Bonnie
What I find so interesting is the choice of the name Coppelia. It's the name of the life sized doll made by Doctor Coppelius in the 1870s ballet of the same name. There's no way that isn't a call back to Charlie Emily in the books... or maybe Circus Baby and Elizabeth.
22:08 maybe I’m not caught up on my lore, but I thought the spring lock suits were retired after the bite of ‘83?
23:44 THANK YOU!
ah yes another FNAF "solved" video that makes claims that have no evidence just like literally every FNAF "solved" video that has ever been created in the history of ever
HECKproductions@@HECKproductions I really am curious what your definition for evidence is if all the stuff I presented here doesn't count? Not saying you have to agree (and I understand people being sick of the use of "solved" in title) but I don't think I was being disingenuous when it comes to evidence.
I will definitely forward this video to people who need to see this!
but wasn't it proven that the MCI died first and charlie(puppet) died last?
Right now there's more evidence to say Charlie died first, but the Help Wanted 2 Grave order is the only one that suggests otherwise. I saw an interesting theory on reddit which says the grave order actually lines up with the Happiest Day minigames in FNAF 3. Even if that's not the case, the Puppet is also related to 1983 even in Help Wanted 2 - so rn it's still up for debate. Charlie dying last would make a lot less sense as far as I can tell.
Nobody else but you is wrong
Do you mean everyone else is correct? Cause idk how that's possible considering everyone else has conflicting opinions with each other 😂
Honestly, whole theory aside, the ending portion is perfect for describing the timeline so concisely. Short, sweet, and logical.
Nice! Not much else to say lol.
This is just completely wrong and the fnaf 1 date is wrong
The real question is; why i micheal barefoot in this game?
Personally I think you are inside the Golden Freddy suit, as I believe that is the springlock failure suit that retired them. The reason Golden Freddy is always slouched over is that he has no endoskeleton as he was a suit that collapsed around a human body, and once the body was taken out to retire the suit, there was no reason for there to be an endoskeleton placed inside. His strange paranormal nature is due to more than one soul being tied to that suit unlike the other animatronics. I can account for four potential souls, the Bite of 83 kid the employee who wore the suit afterwards, the sixth missing child that law enforcement could never link to the MCI, and maybe even the Bite of 87 victim, which if we go back to the theme of five souls becoming one, would make the player the fifth soul Golden Freddy needs to be complete without an endoskeleton.
"The timeline is simple" 34 minute long video xD
You made it on game theory good jobs
I can't believe it honestly 😅 thanks
i absolutely cant believe that you have only 3 videos on your channel, the quality is INSANE
One thing I wanted to add! Breaking down the quote at 7:30, I believe you come to the right conclusion, however I think there might be another interpretation to the quote. Saying the suits were never used, at least the way they were intended implies that they were still used. I believe that the suit had a springlock failure, however it could have still been used as an animatronic’s frame during the entire span of Circus Baby’s Pizzeria lifetime.
Honestly, the way Scott does FNAF reminds me, more than anything, of a DM/GM. Especially the way he clarifies things when players ask, even if not in the clearest manner, and brings back old plot threads/characters people seemed to like or got confused by. That sort of responsiveness you don't get from traditional media or even most games. Also, as someone who has run games, I sympathize with throwaway lines that spiral into monsters and making things up by the seat of your pants. Neither are bad things, that's what makes it fun. The idea of Scott as storyteller is the reason I really like MatPat's last big multi-part timeline. It may not have been 100% accurate, but it was a fun story to sit back and listen to.
I'm actuality delighted you pointed this out! I've been running D&D games for about four years now and I ALWAYS use it as reference for when I'm analysing FNAF. I completely agree that Scott is like a DM, and FNAF is his runaway campaign that he has somewhat planned bit by bit, but the influence of his players (the community) has certainly shaped the story over the years.
@UnwitheredTruth Along with a healthy dose of trolling. Sometimes, you just gotta let the players know who the demented mind running the show is.
good theory man
Oh man...
Congrats on making it to the Game Theory video ( or getting shout out I should say), you truly deserved it
I just saw it there myself I'm absolutely floored it's so cool 😅 thanks!!
YOU GOT MENTIONED IN GAME THEORY
I KNOW IT'S CRAZY I'M SO PUMPED ABOUT IT!
This raises a certain question: How did Will figure out the souls could possess the machines in the GAMES timeline? In the books, it was because of the accident involving Baby, but at this point, he didn't know about the whole haunting thing. And Baby wasn't originally programmed to kidnap children. In the games however, I thought the Funtime Animatronics (including Baby) were built specifically to kidnap children and make tests on the concept of haunting. But then, what led Will to gain knowledge of haunting in the first place? What gave him the idea of the Funtimes? If I'm basing off your timeline, it couldn't have been the MCI (since it takes place afterward, and not prior to it like in the books). Is Charlotte NOT part of the MCI? Or did he figure this from his youngest son incident? I'm a little confused about all that
18:13 Actually Micheal survives because he's just that guy, no remnant needed.
I haven't heard about FNAF Lore since the first one came out. So I don't understand any of this lol
Oh boy, have you played the other games OTHER than FNaF1?
Oh boy, you've missed... So much. But hey, if you're still interested in the series, that means you've just got a boat load of stuff to enjoy!
ㅤ
Am I deaf or was there too much reverb to understand Baby?
It's Henry who locks him in because phone guy (I'm pretty sure it's FNAF 2 phone guy but maybe it's FNAF 3) says that the higher ups (in this case Henry) want to seal off those rooms and never mention it to anyone. We also don't know if ghosts can physically interact with objects so he couldn't have been locked in by them
Well this is the problem. If the safe rooms are sealed by Fazbear after the MCI, (which the fact that these tapes are found all together and are all recorded around the same time), then how is William working at the FNAF 2 location in 1987?
27:43 FNAF 3 is commonly believed to have taken place around the in game year 2023. The teasers said "30 years later". Your timeline doesn't seem to apply the 30 years
You're likely correct, Tho we have to remember Scott absolutely sucks at maths
I'd agree on many things with you but the Odor thing must mean Mike, it's too perfect, including as a storytelling theme. He's our protagonist for the first 3 games, then his little brother, then Mike again for the rest of the original series (Sister Location and Simulator)
This could just be a retcon, but didn't phone guy say they sang the same songs for twenty years? I'm pretty sure that would place FNAF 1 somewhere in the 2000s, unless there happened to be locations before the events of four.
So was matpat right?
This is a really good theory vid that actually made me like the story a lot more. Major props for the reference to the way Charlie cries as she's outside in the rain during Take Cake to the Children.
I thought that FNAF 1 and 2’s placement in the time line came from the price of minimum wage at the time of those years.
Though I am sad that the 1985 location didn't had the unwithereds. I guess I'll accept they were built in 1987 with the new tech finished them. But saw how ugly they looked and put them in parts and service.
