Thank you for the information Margot! I have taught this class several times and I have not heard the tip to change to a stretch needle if one is getting skipped stitches. I will have to have some needles in stock for my next class in Oct. 2024.

As an experienced quilter who has a sit down Sweet Sixteen Quilting Machine, this was a new idea to me. I understood what you were doing though I had to watch it twice as it was a very fast demonstration. Please do a longer slower demonstration as others have asked, if you have time. Thank you.

Does the lead get too old to draw ? I’ve been trying to get the white to trace some patterns but it’s not showing up?

What was the point of doing the video with little or no effort put into demonstrating the technique? The ‘couldn’t be bothered’ presentation method would gave been a better title for the video.

I get the gist of this, but the video was too rushed and jumbled. I wish you could show in detail and much slower how you did this.

I add tiny spots of glue to the edge of the back of quilt before I add border strip. So much easier to maneuver when front border strip is added and then pins are placed.

Ty for this. It’s nice to see someone else doing this too. I am doing a video series on something similar to this, only I am not sewing my batting to the backing, and I am not joining the batting in the same place as the top and back. Also, I am using my embroidery machine to quilt it,.."Quilt in the Hoop". My video's are called Quilt in the hoop with Applique. So far I have 3 videos uploaded. It is more of a journey, and as I go, I change up as to how I am doing things. As of today, I think I have a really good system figured out. But it probably won’t be evident until like the 4 or 5th video. Here is the link to the first video. ua-cam.com/video/I8QO74wtSy4/v-deo.html
