That's "Helmet Cam" view in RBRDirectorsCut, a plugin for extra replay views. It now comes with the RallySimFans install. It allows trackside cams for BTB stages, a decent chase cam that doesn't skip around like the built in one, and some others like the helicopter following cam, but that's one I haven't tried yet.

Yeah, the more I drive them the more I like them, but I'll try not to let them distract me from my main aim of using all the cars. This one loves tight turns and loose surfaces so much it's difficult to put away.

I'm playing the RallySimFans version and the "RBRHUD" plugin just needs a tick in the RSF Launcher.

@@XoWa31 Open launcher, look for the "Plugins" section near the bottom, RBRHUD is one of those you need enabled on that page.

@@XoWa31 Also: Check you have it installed. If it isn't you need to run the installer again, choose update existing, and only tick the RBRHUD plugin. If you do have it already installed, then it just needs turning on in the Plugins page of the launcher.

Here are my controller button choices: Main screen (press ESC till you can't any more). Controls->Controller Setup->Controller Setup (again). Now you are at the screen for binding buttons etc. Steering = X Axis Accelerate and Brake = Z Axis Handbrake = Button 2 (for me) Gear Up = Button 1 (for me) Gear Down = Button 0 (for me) Change Camera = Button 6 (for me) Clutch = Button 4 (for me) Ignition = Button 3 (for me) If you want to "split xbox gamepad triggers" then you tick that option in the RSF launcher in "Controls" section and then ADD two more unused keys for Brake and Throttle back in the "Controller Setup" button bindings page. DO NOT unbind "Accelerate and Brake". I chose LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys because they are not used in driving.

However: Suggested for keyboard steering, or if you don't use "rocker" technique, or if you steer quickly with the stick. @@barsergun3852 I just read this on the Discord: Suggested if you don't use "rocker" technique: "fall rate double the rise rate". I don't use the rocker technique, but after 20 years I'm quite gentle on the steering stick, so maybe try 3 rise and 6 fall, or try lower/higher pairs of numbers, or go back to instant if it doesn't help. I'm going to put in 3/6 and try it out on "UK 2" stage because I'm having real problems there. BTW: "Rocker" technique is when you push forward on the stick and roll it around the outside edge from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock. Could never get used to it myself.

I've tried a few, but now I'm happy with these settings: Options->Controls->Filter settings in main game menu (that's the menu with "Exit" the game). Steering->axis: Curvature 1 = 9 red bars. Curvature 2 = 16 red bars. Maximum Fade = 16 red bars. Saturation speed = 5 red bars. Rise and Fall Rate = both instant.

@@sanno28 I see. Is the controller working with other games? If so, we might just have to go through the setup for buttons/steering etc. I'll just boot my game and check.

@@johnsmith2076 its works!, but my L2 and R2 combined, it detect both in Z axis, so i cant throttle and brake at the same times, i have no idea whats wrong. Sorry if i ask a lots :)

@@sanno28 Here goes: Main menu (press escape until you see the "Exit" button). Options->Controls->Controller_Setup->Controller_Setup(again) and you should see a screen full of controller assignments. I use: Steering = X Axis. Accelerate and Brake (single option) = Z Axis. Then I assign the buttons I like to use. All other options remain blank, so I don't have Gear Up/Down (Secondary) and I don't have Throttle or Brake set to anything because I'm using Z Axis for "Accelerate and Brake". There is an option to "redetect devices" but you shouldn't need that unless your controller switches off before you use it. I use wired controllers because that kept catching me out. Edit: This MUST be done from the main game screen. It can be done from a (RallySimFans) sub-menu, but the options won't save.
