From an outsider’s perspective, this seems right on point, and the Democratic Party especially with Kamala at the head looks like a party of sophistry and in the long run a likely threat to open democratic values. However I cannot understand how Trump is viewed as an alternative, or even “saviour”. I cannot understand the belief in this apocalyptic version of America that can only be remedied by this one “much maligned” man. His entire career reads like a cautionary tale on the excesses of the post-modern nihilistic age, down right to the religious fervour his followers have for him. And on top of that, he lies spuriously, and for deeply pathological reasons. By and large, he is viewed globally as incompetent and a joke, yet this doesn’t seem to penetrate the fantasy of the strong man image. And why does he need Americans to be afraid?? If the house is on fire talk about how to fix it, why meander and rant about countless red herrings in a bid to get people riled up? It’s all strange looking in. A man who claims infants are being murdered, that Mexico would pay for the wall, that dogs and cats are being eaten by Haitians, that he won the election in 2020, that he is in favor of the American people even though he repeatedly supports corporations over the citizens in the world. You are extremely naive if you keep believing the lies that you hear. After the impeachment of Nixon, it was believed that the Republican Party was through. They found a way to keep alive by creating dissonance in our society. Trump has no morals and cannot quote a single Bible verse. He had affairs while his wife was in labor. I borrowed a friend’s extra wheelchair one day to experience life from that angle; it was definitely educational! Blindfolding ourselves for a day would go a long way to increasing understanding. Just walking down a sidewalk and getting hit in the face with low hanging tree branches ought to raise awareness. I tend to smile at strangers I catch eye contact with and I have wondered how I include a blind person in a basic human interaction( I’ve said hello but, understandably, haven’t received replies). What do you think is the best way to address someone in passing? I always think about the isolation when I see someone w/o site.

I truly believe death will be just like before you were born. Norhing and no existence. This is the likely reality. NDE's are just brain activity before it shuts down permanently. It's not easy to accept, particularly for those who have suffered all their life, it doeant seem fair.

I'm a guy in my 40es. Some years ago, i underwent a throat surgery. The doctor told me that i might dream a bit. Then he gave me anesthesia, and then everything became black, and then quickly after that, i woke up, yelling hysterically, "An angel, an angel, she's an angel!" and then i saw the staff looked visible annoyed and distraught by me, and they were rolling me away. I don't actually remember seeing anything at all, though, only my own reaction. Shorthly, after that, i became severely depressed, so much so that i was so close to calling someone to come get me and give me some sedatives before i would do something stupid to myself. It's hard to explain other than i could absolutely just not stand being in my body. It felt horrible being alive and being in this body. Some months after that, it slowly went away, and i feel almost completely normal now.

I find Near Death Experiences to be very interesting because there seems to be something going on there. There is evidence to support there is something going on. What it is - not sure, but something seems to be going on there.

I think exploring the idea of where we came from is a good place to start searching for answers.I think if we can learn more about where we came from,it can teach us more about where we will go.We also have a highly developed sense of language and its been said that language is tied directly to conscious thought.The more developed the language,the more developed our conscious thought.In my mind,the idea that we are the only beings with a highly developed language, lends itself to an idea of a spiritual journey and that we are the product of real life magic not done by some illusionist but by someone or some thing that created us.

Then, if you earnestly yearn to know the truth of God's existence that will happen for you, and without subjecting yourself to the assumed authority of others. I have just oddly enough been rebuffed by a doctor who is an atheist and refutes any evidence of an afterlife stating that scientific evidence refutes this fact when instead you have just said that even the scientific evidence comes from Carl Sagan a highly respected science proffessor.So this is to me is confirmation that I can now put to this arrogant self posturing individual with his lies and bs.Doctors like him seem to think they have the monopoly on such matters even though I told him about Dr eben Alexander's own experience of the afterlife, this other doctor said it was for profit from his books.This suggests to me that even another high profile doctor must be lying about this subject in order to make himself rich.How arrogant is this idiot to refute Dr ebens own near death experience,when you consider that Dr Ebon has filled huge halls around America charging ticket prices because people are happy to pay a small charge in order to hear the truth.And so the other doctor to whome I am referring is basically saying that Dr eben Alexander is a charlatan I would presume by duping all these many thousands of paying public seekers of the truth.This mans arrogance needs serious questioning for suggesting such accusation don t you think.God bless you Dr Ebon Alexander for the enlightenment that the world so needs especially at a time such as now.amen ❤.

Total BS. Carl Sagan did not believe in an afterlife, whenever the subject is brought up in interviews with him he repeatedly says that there is no evidence for it. He knew it was an illusion by the brain, like all rational people realize after looking at the actual science. And no, there is zero scientific evidence, NDE:s are certainly not proof of anything other than a disfunctional brain winding down. No real controlled scientific experiment has ever proven an afterlife and NOONE has seen these symbols or cards near the ceiling, zero people, in decades. The lastest study where it failed was the Sam Parnia's Aware II study. You are very misinformed and flat out lying. Since you make this claim please reference and cite the peer reviewed study in which Carl Sagan's test showed that they could see the placed symbols accurately by "astral-projecting" during a controlled scientific test. Provide the link here.

Test not performed under scientific conditions, like the test Sagan suggested. Not to say the experience is not rea but not the same conditions l. No quantitative evidence provided just hearsay.

The vast and varied evidence points to an afterlife

Not many people come back to tell us because they pass on. I know some of the people that have an NDE are genuine and are telling the truth. Unanimously they shared their experience as a beautiful thing and not dreadful. That explains consciousness exists and is eternal. Perhaps all our ancestors or people we’ve known that passed on and left their bodies , don’t feel the need to communicate with us. Perhaps they don’t want to intervene in our lives or our life lessons. It’s also possible they do communicate with us and we are unable to tune in to what they are communicating with us as we haven’t honed in that skill. Perhaps our beliefs that life ends when we die and there’s no after life. Personally I feel there’s more to life than this mundane 3D existence. When we think about the universe we live in doesn’t it leave you in awe? It’s fascinating. Whatever it is I love listening to Anita Moorjani who is someone that had NDE. If resonates deeply with me and it feels very genuine. ❤
