I heard this song while watching a Hallmark movie, The Christmas Ornament. I was drawn to the song's reference to mittens while gloves were the items that actually fell were gloves. I youtubed the song, which struck a memory. My baby sister, April, had a favorite book that had to be read upon request, day or night; Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens. Her favorite pair were bright red with an attached string to prevent losing them. It didn't work ;-) The lyrics were so rich with meaning for me. GOD used this particular, beautiful song to begin a long overdue, much needed process. I lost my sister two days before Thanksgiving last year in 2014. She was 48 short years. Thanks for the memories... Thanks for the healing...

Everyone says how she changed because of Justin Bieber. Don't blame him, I'm not a fan of him, but you can't blame him for Carly changing the type of songs she sings. Saying that her voice is just autotune crap now is stupid. If you've listened to any song other than Call Me Maybe you hear her voice. But maybe thats just me, or its just that everyone cant get past that Justin Bieber discovered her and that she changed her style of music.
