First of all, if you don't see a song in my RANKINGS, doesn't mean i hate that group or the song. It's just the songs are not my cup of tea and haven't found anything worthy for them to be included. As i've said in the video, this is MY OPINION and i will be BRUTAL even if it's my ULT group. I'm using my knowledge of Photography/Cinematography (Cutting, ColorGrading, Using DLSR Cameras, etc ) and my 2 years of making EDM music as guide for the perfect Song\MV :) So it starts with the first phase : Usually i give chance to almost every song, so if you see it here it means i like it to the point i want to rank it. If the song is not in this video, means there was nothing i liked about it even after few listens. So if i like it and i go 'hmm not bad' it'll automatically starts with 60 Points The next phase is crucial and it'll decide if a song will obtain a Early Song of the Year (ESOTY) badge which means it has higher chance to get into my End of the Year Nominees :) 1. MusicVideo is not that important factor for me, so if it's shot beautifuly, color graded and cut accordingly to the Music will obtain 2 points. 2. If the song is above 3 Minutes will obtain 10 points. 3. If the song has a beautiful pre-chorus it'll obtain 5 points. 4. If the CHORUS is a good singing chorus it'll obtain 5 points and if it's accompanied with a astounding melodic instrumental it'll obtain 10 points. If it's just a nice melodic EDM drop ( without repeating single word ) it'll obtain 5 points. 5. If the song has a bridge, will obtain 2 points and if it's something new, didn't heard it before in the song, it'll obtain 5 points. 6. If the song has meaningful lyrics and not about fame\money etc will obtain 5 points! 7. If it has different Last Chorus than the previous ones, it'll obtain 3 points. If its EPIC CLIMAX type of Last Chorus, it'll obtain 5 points. That's all :) It's a lot i know, but i said i'll be brutal :) The Maximum points a song can get is 102 points which will be put in SOTY Nominees and not just ESOTY :) FYI: As i said, if a song reaches 95 points will be put into ESOTY, however that doesn't mean i hate anything below 95 points.
