Like half a second it only brings it down for long enough to land the hit but you can dash out of body blow it's just really tricky to do.

​@@beansaber3571Unique effect of body blow: somewhat undodgeable if the opponent uses it while they are blocking. Useless if they use it while your not blocking since it's easy to perfect dodge. Other than that, that's the only way to counter it. But the reason the style is overpowered is because m1 chain + body blow is so easy and repeatable. Even if they don't block they take more dmg and if they mess up and get hit by the M2 they have lose their regen.
