The conflict today isn’t as extreme as it seems. Russia is facing more threat from its allies in Russia and Iran more than with the U.S. the war is definitely different today then it was during GWOT. More of a formidable foe than in Iraq and Afghanistan (size wise) The fighting style is more Guerilla and much much more technological. With DJI drones being used, the capability of Artillery, AA, and Ground forces is much stronger. Air superiority is not as strong as it was in GWOT due to offense ADA and Aerial deterrents.

I feel strongly there is not a huge impending threat of war currently. The service will set you up for success if you chose the right job and the right path. Whether you are a 3 and done or a lifer you will network and learn trades that will set you above the competition when you enter the CIV Market

I guess the real question is do we believe Putin is suicidal enough to launch the first ICBM? Like he’s very openly demonstrated more than once. I mean it’s obvious he’ll be met with an equal or greater force. But why is this even an option? Why do we even pretend that card is in our hand? And if he is bluffing is it right to push forward and provoke even farther? We’ve sent probably 600,000 Ukrainian boys to their deaths and we’re still talking about the prospect of war? And continuing or even escalating the conflict? It’s actually insane, and it makes me wonder if it’s worth fighting for what seems to be a closeted tyrannical government. I’m at a point where choosing evil isn’t an option but there’s a choice to be made. I don’t like to believe I’m blind but I can’t deny this is foggy and I can’t see shit. I’m trying to set myself up whilst looking out for traps that would test one’s morality to the core. I don’t sign contracts I don’t believe in. It’s Just such a confusing time right now for a young adult brain. I’ll be honest.
