New Album, New Song?? YAY!!! Lindi's the best!

I first saw Lindi open for Social Distortion . I very rarely enjoy covers of Folsom Prison not one of which was a female. Lindi changed all that , absolutely the best cover bar none, hands down.

Lindi is the most original country / rock female artist I’ve heard in years! Can’t wait to hear her new album!!

Hey thanks to you guys for some great conversation on faith. Phil, I really appreciate hearing from others who hold similar beliefs/values that I do. I don't go to church anymore, and haven't since becoming a member of The Society of Friends /Quaker. I felt welcomed and safe to be myself, and still be able to have meaningful relations and conversations with like minded folks. And it was very good for quite a few years. But the meeting in my hometown was so politically active and minded, that there seemed to be little to no room for exploring spirituality. I left years ago and have no interest in regular organized religion, I practice my brand of faith in the forest in a hammock with my dogs or when I run, or when I'm walking down the sidewalk in town. I simply do not get a chance to have much conversation about God and faith, so I really soaked it up😆. I just have to say, I think this world would be a much better place if folks would just worry about their own faith and relationship with God/Jesus and stop worrying or trying to control everyone else's lives. I see it as this individualistic, deep seeded insecurity, which is so ironic. Adding to that, I'm incredibly blessed. How cool is it to hang out at 'hippy' coffee house, and start up a conversation on the topic and come away with a new found love for the person I just learned something from. I got that from my grandfather, a Pentecostal Minister of over 60 years. He always started talking to folks, and as a little girl, visiting Phoenix, made the world feel kind and safe. He was great man and not a religion nut like you might expect. Anyway, enjoyed you and the entire band play Hardly Strictly, that was a jammin set! So fun. See you again later on. Cheers!

"for those who die alone". i heard a beautiful melody and a beautiful voice. then...i started listening to the lyrics. laughed a ton....then realized it was the most beautiful song i had ever heard on loneliness. we all know someone like that. a beautiful soul. that never finds love and dies alone.

I enjoy all of her songs, whether they're songs of worship, praise, or just about life as a human on this earth. Thank you Jennifer for the many years of enjoyment you have provided to many people. I found your work right about the time you released Kansas, and I couldn't get enough. I saw you perform in West Palm Beach at Coral Sky Amphitheater, and it was fantastic! ❤

Great hearing his perspective on the music. First experience of mine was being handed one of those cassettes in 1994 by a friend that said, " I think you will like this" Well I did and never turned back. Many live shows and destination shows later, I still love them and the solo work from each. My Time is also a fave for me and his solo song Independence Day.

Great interview. I consider myself one of Jennifer's fans. I felt identified with the music and the lyrics from the first time I herd her. Lisenting to her talking about her early years as a Christian in college reminded me of my years in Bible School when I first heard her songs. As a conservative christian I may now disagree with some perspectives and views in her lifestyle and beliefs, but I will have to agree that there is still a strong culture of shame and guilt around evangelicalism, which do not represent at all who Jesus is and did. Grace, redemption and forgiveness are a need for every human being, and are avaliable for every human being. By the way, I can't believe there's only 4 comments to this video.
