Overpriced crap. Filters are fine always complaining about dirty filters. Motor sounds like a tractor, just junk not even worth a new overpriced filter.

The manufacturer does not state that the carbon filter is in granular form. Have you observed this yourself, or do you have any information from the manufacturer on the subject?

Thanks for the video. ? Did you do any temtop readings after turning on the diffuser/oil function? If not could you do it and put your results in the description bar if possible? Thanks. I suspect it would raise pm 2.5 levels...the opposite of what a purifier is supposed to do.

I purchased both, and then picked the Xiaomi as the two models seem to perform the same however the Home Assistant integration for the Xiaomi was better (more controls, sensors, etc). Given I do not want to use the manufacturer app, and want to be able to automate it and have all its data in Home Assistant, the choice was obvious... Xiaomi. I therefore returned the Levoit.

Literally undoing exactly what the air purifier is supposed to do. Stupid marketing gimmick for people who don't know better. VOCS are always bad even if they "smell good".

i just came out with an idea. i added a carbon filter to my computer, so becomes air purifier. i don't believe this activated carbon is that contaminated after half a year of use so i give it a second life. better than nothing. i hold it in place with foam for pressure. the computer already has a mesh, and a year ago i added another thiner mesh of stainless steel 0.026mm hole thickness holded with 4 neodymium magnets. this computer is placed at the height of our head, in a built in wardrobe for noise insulation. i drilled 2 tom & erry holes at 2 walls so i can enjoy music inside the room and the computer thanks to 12 meters long cables remains outside with its noisy motors. i realized that a board underneath would increase the noise like an acoustic guitar, and that the board got hot and was obstacle for air flow, same as tables overheat with portable computer, but this is a desktop. so my computer is at tall, vertiginous, i placed 2 wooden slats over perpendicular to 2 slats that already were screwed at the sides, over the clothes hangers. this way there is 1.80 meters underneath for fresh air. the space is smaller than a london telephone cabin so in the gap between the computer and the slats there is room for the carbon filter because the feet of computer is taller. this is killing 2 birds with one shot.

I bought one. I also bought a temtop air monitor. The temtop was reading from bad to hazardous for each test. i switched on the Levoit and watched the tempo readings drop to good in all sections in 10 minutes. This is a great product .With the state of the world nowdays I will be buying each of my three children one. First class

I'm now an owner of a Winix C535! I just love air purifiers. They're one of my most favorite appliances to buy and collect lol. I love it! I wish I would have bought it sooner.

I have the xiaomi pro H. 600CADR it’s a beast

Every time I turn on the purifier, I have to manually turn on the orange ambient light; it doesn't remember that it was already on before. I have the latest firmware version. Is it just my unit, or does the same thing happen to you? It's really annoying because the ambient light looks amazing.

Does the vacuuming also do damage to the structures or disturb the structures of the HEPA filter like washing does (mentioned at 01:14). Did you ever test whether there was a progressive drop in efficiency after multiple washings (maybe most all the damage occurs with that first wash and subsequently little further damage occurs)? Is a true HEPA filter better than 23% more effective than the non standard (cheaper) varieties?

what If I use two of this in my nightstands, wthy is about 161sq room, where I already have a 300s by I find it queit disrtuving for a beadroom. It's too big. And I can put two of this in the nightstand. Tought?

the replacement filter is 3/4 the price of the unit but its worth it

The speed settings are awful on these. 1 is pointless, then the jump up to 2 is way to big. So you have 1 quiet pointless setting, and 2 excessively loud ones.

I have one it's great.

So much conflicting information. The Levoit Core Mini says it’s rated for 337sqft on the Amazon page (which is absurd), 178sqft on the official Levoit website, then you’re saying it’s only 71sqft.
