Man I’ve had a lot in a 40 breeder but big fish in a 40 u could only have 1, that’s why I had a lot because they were small. If u give them enough space and over filtrate the tank helps too.

It’s 4 gallons and I have a filter in there now and it’s been a couple weeks and he hasn’t jumped out

I had tiger barbs and a lot of other barbs. Barbs are pretty aggressive their like little piranhas! Also I had a few cichlids, fire mouth and I had a baby flowerhorn. Don’t do the flowerhorn unless u have a separate tank to keep him in.

@Shawn Paul 954 there growth is slow no need to sell, enough time to plan ahead and buy another tank to divide them.

@@vinodk2507 that’s not too bad, what kind of filtration do u have, how many times do u do a water a week and how much water do u take out during a water change?

@@shawnpaul9544 tetra whisper 50i filter and a sponge filter on the other side, 1 a week about 25-30%!

@@vinodk2507 that’s pretty decent, I would get another hob filter if I was you and increase the amount of water you change to 50%. If you do that you will see an increase of activity in your fish and they would also grow more. My 40 gallon I have an aquaclear 120, a seachem tidal 120 and a sunsun canister filter on it. Extremely over filtrated but the fish are happy. Check more of my more recent videos and you can see.

That was a 40 gallon, planned on getting more tanks but didn’t have the room then. But now I have 10 tanks! From a 10 gallon up to a 150. Check out some of my more recent videos. This one is very old

@@watasheep9059 definitely but I would add another filter just for safety measures. I have a 40 gallon breeder with 3 filters on it! But my 29 gallon I have an aqua clear 50 on it, so hats it and it’s good!

@@shawnpaul9544 ok, I have 4 tigers in the tank right now with a few sword tails that I plan on moving to my 10 gallon. On my way go get myself an acara. And after the acara settles in I plan on adding another 4-6 tiger barbs and maybe a small school of Otto's and Cory's. Is this good?

Alot of the wrong fish to put together, lol. I did this a few years ago when I first started the hobby I had all kinds of cichlids, barbs and plecos together. Mainly flowerhorns!

But it comes with a spray bar that u can have long or shorter for more pressure or longer for less pressure. I'm sure u could put a valve in but I really don't think u would need it to be honest.

Yes it was. I just started the hobby and didn't know much. I leave my mistakes up so people don't do the same thing I did. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It would have to be with other dwarf cichlids. African cichlids would eat GBR. I have some GBR with some small African cichlids growing them out, but once they reach a certain size gotta remove them. They will eat whatever fits in their mouths.
