I can no longer call myself just an editor. I wrote, directed, produced, DP'ed, gaffed, scored, colored and FINALLY, edited this film. What a labor of love. I graduate in a week. This film is the best thing I've ever done and I hope it shows. I had an incredible cast and a stellar crew to help me get through the shoot and I couldn't be more thankful.
The edit was great. This is the first time that I've imported from Premiere to Davinci and back efficiently. The colors turned out amazing and I'm so happy. Using a slate on set made it so so easy to sync the footage, which I'm again happy about.
I cannot believe that I also scored this myself. I had always kinda said that I wanted to make music for it, but until the moment I hit the record button on the mixer I didn't realize I was actually going to do it. The final song is something that I'd been messing with for a few months and it felt so good to apply it somewhere. The score is definitely a bit intense at parts but I was having so much fun and really getting immersed while I produced.

In the near future, an overwhelmed lawyer turns to AI for relief. Editor's Notes: This was the first big project of my cinematography II course, where I had to opportunity to act as DP! This was a super exciting to write, storyboard, shoot, and edit. Honestly I don't have much to say about the editing - I'm still excited about getting to use a Black Magic Pocket Cinema 6k to shoot this project....
