we just got back from Korea. We had breakfast at 'egg box' at a train station. Basically same thing, so delicious. And the sandwich was around 3 USD--but in the US they'll be like $8+ each!!! We also ate from Isaac Toast twice. Isaac uses thinner, floppier bread, but still really good.
I know Starbucks as a company is not very popular right now for political reasons but this is a masterful example of blending modern and traditional cultures together. Like it’s an American cafe in Japan that’s set up like a traditional style tatami design
I'd know you're Korean without seeing your face, you don't have a Korean accent but you have the choppy rhythm of one, likely from your parents accent.
I get the concern for the wellbeing of a fellow living creature. But fish like these can’t actually comprehend things like freedom and enrichment. They don’t care about the size of their enclosure. To put it bluntly, they have the mind of a tree that could obtain its own food.
You can literally teach parrotfish how to do tricks, and goldfish have a memory of up to 6 months. These fish aren't as stupid as you're taught to believe.
@@SylverScourge learning tricks doesn’t mean an understanding of confinement versus open water. Tricks are often food motivated, which means they are done solely for survival. Also, I’m referring specifically to these fish. I am aware that there are sea creatures out there with higher levels of intelligence.
@@sammmmmp1455 you've got to be kidding me. as a creature that swims in open water, of course it can tell the difference between enough space and a tiny ball. it doesn't take advanced cognition to become stressed from visual distortion from a glass bowl, or an enclosure that's much too small. goldfish are also pretty aware, for fish.
They are. In fact almost all of them are. You want typically 10 gallons per fancy gold fish but some of these guys look very large and would need 20+ gallons per fish. Which they are not getting.
Wolfgang Puck hiring practices are extremely discriminatory. The upper management who are very German and very white only hire young white people for the front of the house. It doesn’t matter how much experience and expertise a person of color has, a white person will always be the first option, I experienced this first hand in his DC restaurants. He has been sued many times for discrimination but nothing has changed. It’s that German Nazi white supremacy thing.

This is animal abuse!!!! Hope this helps 🥰
I feel like some of the aquarians r too small and bare, poor fishies 😢

Yep, especially for those goldies. They should have at LEAST 25 gal tanks. And the decor is likely plastic, injuring their fins as well.
I just noticed the small tank that I thought had 2 goldies actually had 3, meaning the tank should be closer to a 40-50 gallon tank.
Ya and the round bowls like that aren’t good for the fishies
Which tour did you book?
The coffee shop is call blown
