Cool project man. If I were you I would definitely cut off the remainder of that stock cross member and weld in new metal. Maybe that’s your plan and I just misunderstood. Keep up the fun though!
@@dhmetalworks8832 we were thinking of just leaving it as an extra support piece. Also, it’s making it easier on us for the gas tank to right back in. I plan on welding the z member to the factory support then it’d be a full, solid piece that then can also be removed by bolts alone if ever needed. Please be patient with me and understanding as this is my first attempt at bagging a truck. I greatly appreciate your input and above that, your comment a video watch! Thank you
Only problem is the front mount needs to be a heim joint or jonny joint or something. In that configuration it cant articulate side to side like a normal suspension.
