*Guide:* This boss is pretty difficult and makes use of a few tactics to be able to defeat him easier. The main aspect that you need to understand will be boss positioning, which is manipulating where the boss is at certain times to be able to make combos easier. *Phase 1:* Attacks are pretty simple and don't require much practice to get down. *Sword Slash:* You can jump over with precise timing to avoid dashing, but just dash in phase one it's not recommended to take damage because you mess up. *Singular Wave:* Dodge out of the way as soon as you hear the sound cue. *Double Wave:* Dodge backwards and keep walking backwards (ensure you are not near a wall) *Exploding Bubbles:* Wait for the bubbles to start moving, then just strafe around them. These are rotation locked for phase one, so when you have the back to back bubbles, remember what path they took. This is not the same for phase two however. *Phase 2: (the fun part)* This phase becomes a hell of a lot more fast paced and requires you to NOT waste your dashes, you need to save them for certain combos. Think of it like RDF's spike + charge combo, you should (best case scenario), be able to walk away from spike and dash from charge. Submerge ("No way out of this one") can be ignored and used as a way to focus on other attacks happening at once. *Disruption:* If you are near him and within the hitbox of the middle geyser, dash *IMMEDIATELY* to avoid damage, despite what kazdum says, the middle geyser has horrible hitboxes and will hit you. If you are further away you are likely to be able to walk away from the geysers, because they take time to activate, I'd dodge if you are closer to the middle though. *Exploding Bubbles:* Try and get as much distance away from the bubbles before they start moving, without dashing, and strafe around them. *Pulsating Waves:* If you are melee, or around that distance, just walk forwards to avoid the attack. If you are ranged, or at range, if you can, dash into him to get out. If you are too far away for that, dodge into one of the gaps to the side that doesn't have a wave. *(THE GEYSERS ARE DELAYED LIKE DISRUPTION SO USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE)* *Tidebringer:* Try and aim him towards the edges of the map, because when he does exploding bubbles after, for some of them, it is much easier to dodge when they are both in a line as opposed to in two different locations. *Sword Charge:* If you have space behind you, it is recommended to dash backwards and keep walking backwards. When he charges, jump and hold back to avoid it. If not, try and jump over the slashes and then dodge last second when he charges. If you are at range for this attack, just avoid the slashes and dash on charge. *Singular Wave:* This time the attack is warned with a jump before the sound cue, making it clear he is doing that attack. Dodge out of the way like in phase one. *Double Wave:* This is the same attack but can be really painful in combos. This phase mostly consists of these attacks being comboed together, so I'll write how to avoid them too, because there is a slight difference to avoiding them. *Distruption + Exploding Bubbles Combo:* Make sure you are towards the middle of the map so you don't get cornered. If you do get cornered, run back as far as possible and hope rng is on your side with bubbles positions. *Tidebringer + Exploding Bubbles Combo:* Aim tidebringer towards the edge of the map and then make sure you are in a straight line to where tidebringer landed, dash back when exploding bubbles starts and then strafe. *Exploding Bubbles + Singular Wave Combo:* Not much of a combo but just make sure you don't waste your dash before he jumps, because you will take damage if you can't dash. Whenever you have double wave pop up in a combo, because he likes to triple combo with wave, try not to be near the edges, and if you have space, dodge to the side of the waves as opposed to walking backwards. *Vortex (ULT attack):* Get away from the middle asap and head to one of the compass directions (*N,S,E,W*) and wait for the lasers to spawn. Once the lasers spawn start following them, whilst dodging the shockwave. Stop following the lasers and focus on dodging the bubbles and then dodge towards the laser again. You should have enough space to dodge the lasers + last shockwave. After this he does another shockwave and spams bubbles, which have really tight gaps and without a class with extra ws you are likely to be hit at least once. Head to the nearest corner and just try and strafe. After this he follows the same combos (not in order) + another vortex, until he loops phase 2, once you get the combos down you should be able to do the end of phase 2.
