happen with cheap nozzle or glow in the dark filament wich is very abrasive . havent changed mine for a year and my cr10se run 24/7 , what kind of filament are you using ?
@@thebeardedhomestead - Thanks for the reply. Yeah, sliding it open was the obvious first choice, lol, but mine won't slide. And the plastic is so delicate I'm afraid I'll break it or damage it so it no longer works. Oh, well, it's not doing me any good the way it is, so I guess I'm not losing anything by trying to force it. I just wanted to check if I was missing something before I went ahead and broke it. 🤷♀
I’m having the same problem with a brand new use. It may be three times always been inside my garage and it doesn’t connect to my phone. Any feedback will be much appreciated.
There is a coin cell battery in the base of the tool that goes flat, not the 18v battery a cr2032 battery. This is located in the battery base of the tool just look for the 2 small black screws. This is only true for one key tools.
So sorry this has happened, specially in that weather Was it due to the design where the sliding platform shouldn’t have that union right before the wedge OR was it due to the size and kind of wood? Thanks for sharing I’ve ordered mine and I never had nor used one
If you have a Laptop and WiFi network in your house you only need the Lan cable already supplied in the package. Just share the internet connection of the laptop via Lan! (Go in network connection, right click to enter properties for your WiFi connection in the laptop, than click share tab and toggle "allow other network users to connect trough this computer ." For W11 you need to go further in settings and select a service (1700 to 1708).
I have few questions if u have time to answer it. 1. I got some rlink m15 router, do i have to first configure AP mode on router on my computer or i can right away conect to printer? 2. I dont have laptop, so i guess i need wifi dongle at my pc to conect to router wifi? 3. And is it possible to acess fluid true mobile phone away from home, like "Smart appliances"? Dont realy understand this ways of conecting printer.
1) you're going to need a computer 2) sorry I don't know 3) yes you can use fluid on you phone. Just got to the browser and put in the printers ip address. Need to be on the same network.
Huge thanks for this. I bought a Linksys AC750 thinking it has an Ethernet port but it doesn't. Returned. I just bought the VAP11G-300 from Amazon and it'll be here tomorrow. I also like that it's USB powered but it would have been better if it was USB-C powered to leave the USB-A port open for a USB thumb drive, although once I have Klipper control I won't need to use a thumb drive.
Nice, I'm glad it helped. You can get a USB hub and plug in the adapter, a thumb drive and even a webcam. You'll be able to watch the webam once klipper loads. I tried to use the USBc but I couldn't get anything to load. I contacted elegoo and they told me that the usbc is just for firmware updates.
@@thebeardedhomestead - Thanks for the info. I read all of the comments under this video, including your comment about the USB hub to reclaim a USB port for files and gain a USB port for video. Very cool.
I don't really have access to the Router, i live in a building with just wifi, will this work out of the box with just wifi password and a computer for intial setup ? I saw other videos where you need the router 's ethernet port for the intial setup but that wouldn't work for me. Thanks for your help!
@@thebeardedhomestead no pressure I don’t have the right to demand anything from you. It’s just that you dropped this goofy looking tool and left me wondering how it’s used 😂
Did you resolve it?
Where did you get or what did you use to make the steel band that the actual pic base is welded to?
I picked it up at a local logging store. They were selling just the head and I put it on an axe handle. You can also get them fully assembled.

I was using cf petg. I've got harden nozzles on order but was impatient. I also had ironing left on from a previous print which also didn't help.
I bet you the breaker tripped now when you try to turn the power back on,, I bet you it welded shut …
How did you get the fricking battery compartment OPEN??? Mine won't budge.
Mine just slide open

I set it up as AP.
