That plane crashing right next to you was incredibly cinematic! Panzerstorm is hands down the best map in BF5 because it was specifically designed for tank combat. The wide-open spaces on this map really allow for strategic maneuvering of armored units. However, it's extremely frustrating how much you have to aim up in order to compensate for the trajectory, especially when taking shots at distances of 500-800m (thats basically knife-fight range in armored warfare). It's absurd that engaging targets at these ranges forces you to point your cannon at the sky as if you're launching a rock from a catapult!

Hey, I'd love to see your approach when the enemy has control of "C." Your area control between "D" and "E" is great, but capturing "C" seems to be a challenge in most games and affects tank gameplay noticeably. Also, I'm surprised you stick to the central area instead of utilizing the cliffs to the NE. Wouldn't it be advantageous to have a line of sight from there?

On maps like twisted steel and panzerstorm, camouflage can make a huge impact despite what you may think. And also having good positioning can be a decisive factor in a fight. You got lucky with the enemies not having good pilots so that helped

lol m10 with a coaxial gun is new to me

This match was tough to watch. Firstly, 2042 probably has the worst dynamics for tank warfare. Almost every map feels like a tank trap, especially this one. Secondly, there are so many lock-on weapons, and the enemy seems to have an unlimited supply of them. I'm grateful for the "dedicated" engineer who kept fixing you up, and your APS system really saved the day. Lastly, there are so many angles the enemy can shoot at you from above, whether it's from the hills on the left or from the crane campers. Once again, great job on your defensive driving technique. It's definitely the way to go. Charging headlong into the enemy with armored vehicles like in BF3 or BF4 and stomping them out is a thing of the past 😢
