I do think the bracelet/buckle is the weak point…just like a seiko lol. The crown I have no issues with personally.

Longines are making some fantastic watches at the moment and the Spirit line are some of the best. I prefer smaller watches (no I’m not a child I just don’t want to look like a mobile phone salesman!). Why this rather than the Tudor Ranger? I’d buy this but I already have an Explorer 36mm so can’t find a good enough excuse.
Agreed brother. It more so a preference. I can easily pull this off in 40 mm but the lugs were a bit long so I went with 37mm. If prob prefer a 38 at least since it is a pilot watch tbh.
37 mm is a kids size.
Haha it was this or a 40 and I referred the shorter lugs on this. I wish it was 38 mm but what can you do.

Both IWC and Baume & Mercier are part of the Richemont group. B&M make a 3-hander in 40mm x 10mm with 5 days power reserve for under 3K. But IWC needs a 42mm x 13mm case? 🙃

The difference is in the details with this one. Great finish and dial details. With accuracy like that, you can set it and forget it for over a week. 👍🏻

Thats the plan! You could buy it on leather for about 250$ less but I opted to buy the bracelet version and bought a leather strap with a deployant buckle from Longines.
Measure the case size from 2 to 8 or 4 to 10.

Does the crown screw down? It looks like it sticks out pretty far.
In the 37 mm model it is only push pull. In the larger models it is screw down. In the beginning of the video the crown in out to hack the movement, later in the video it is pushed into place and closer to the case.
@@HeyHabibsWatches On closer inspection I realized the reflection of the crown on the polished case looked like a stem.

I've owned both, longines is good for the money but iwc mark is like the submariner of pilot watches, the design and feel cannot be matched by longines

Cool review! I agree with you that at this price point this is a stunner. The thinness of the case, amazing dial, and a sapphire crystal makes it ideal as a gift to non-watch people. And the limited guarantee wouldn't be a worry as the quartz movement doesn't require servicing as much as mechanical watch could do anyways.

One of my first Artem nylon strap had a rough stitch. I didn't really care too much because the strap looked and felt good, but Artem contacted me and told me that they had seen the flaw in one of my IG pics and was sending me a replacement of my choice. Their prices are high, but their customer services is one of the best I've experienced. Do reach out to them and I'm sure they'll help you out 😊
