Here's my last 2 laps from the 14th April 2012, Tractioncircle club, CCT. why the last 2 laps? cos the first 2 were quite boring as I made a mistake in the opening lap, and i spent the next 2 laps just chasing back up.

this was recorded during a closed night trackday session by TCC. It was a feasibility test to see if trackdays could be run safely at night. From my point of view, I loved the challenge of driving at night, objects looked alot closer and it is a challenge to see far ahead. on the other hand, the cool air was a welcome change to the heat beating down during the day. Hi, just a short video with me running a 2:45.50 during the Traction Circle Club CCT event during the February 2010 Trackday. Sorry about the poor video quality, as I fitted my video camera onto a new windscreen which hadnt sat properly yet. lines are abit messy and you can hear abit of wheel spin exiting turn 2, 4 and 9 on Sepang, yup my pre-lsd days. you can see more on my blog at competition...

yeah nobodys on the remus anymore. they had a flaw in the design where the muffler kept dropping off the car!
What is the Remus like when on long journeys?

T11 looks very challenging with the existing lighting...one has to be familiar with the track to venture into a night outing. Very good timing too :)
good test of familiarity with the track and challenges you to develop new sight pictures... t14 looks particularly interesting at night :)

Let me rephrase that.. I don't see the point in going the Hopup route if your going to run stock plastic tracks. I can see opting for the standard Impact TU if you were after a fair amount of extra torque with your plastic tracked tank.
The Impact with hop up only has slightly more torque than the Standard Tamiya, so why would one want to buy that if they are going to run stock Tamiya plastic tracks like you did in your demo? It would seem the only reason to go for these TUs would be to allow the running of metal tracks which would normally strip the stock Tamiya gearboxes.
