Hi! I'm Jenna and I live in Brooklyn, NY.
I started this channel to share Korea vlogs from my trip to South Korea and NYC vlogs about my everyday life in Brooklyn with my family and Nori the cat. These visual diaries are a companion to my Substack newsletters, "Everything is Liminal", where I write about midlife, career changes, empty nesting, and other rambling commentary about Gen X life.

I only had 2 days in Jeju Island, but managed to explore the volcanic island and see some top attractions: Oedolgae, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Cheinjiyeon Falls, and a cruise around Seogwipo to see the rocky coastline. We missed camellia season at Cameilla Hill, but Jeju has such beautifully diverse and rich marine and plant life. The highlight of my trip w...

Beautiful video ❤ my husband is from Geoje so I love seeing people visit! 🥹
i love this.
🇧🇩💚💚💚
I loved Seoraksan...I couldn't take the cable car though because it was so windy...glad you were able to capture the views! And I always appreciate your food shots, Korean food truly is the best! I definitely didn't appreciate it growing up (always wanted burgers, pizza, etc.). I don't know about you, but it's amazing that I can still remember how certain Korean food tastes even after not having eaten it in decades. Sad this is the last of your videos from the trip. I guess that means you'll have to go back soon :).
Thank you for watching these videos! I can't believe my trip was almost a year ago now and that it took me so long to get to this one 😂. I might put up another shorter one in the future. I really want to go back! My kid might study there this summer and I'm jealous haha!
Super! I love your choice of music.
Thank you! It definitely makes the video ☺️

See you next summer 😅
👋 Enjoy the Fall!
That so nice
Beautifully shot scenery! I'm heading to Korea in 3 days, but only have time for Seoul and Busan. Wish I could hit Jeju as well.
Oh, I'm jealous. Hopefully it's not too hot there anymore. Have a good trip!
Beautiful!
🥰
What equipment do you use for such smooth shots? Love the whole aesthetics of your video. So peaceful ❤
Thank you! It's just shot with an iPhone 14 (reg, not pro). I did just get a sony camera, so I'll see how it changes things!
loved this! 🤍
Thank you for watching!
This is so great and really communicates such a specific vibe of your trip. It's so well done, I truly can't believe you're newish to these travel vlogs! I was totally transported.
Thank you Abby! It takes so long to edit these but I know that I’ll be happy to look back on my trip when I’m old(er) with these videos. ❤️
Loved your video! It makes me want to see more of the country outside of Seoul. I was just there last October for the first time since 1987, and one of my favorite experiences is seeing Seoraksan, Sokcho, etc. Keep the videos coming 😊.
thank you! Yes, I have some more videos to make. Takes forever to edit 😭. I was briefly in Sokcho, not enough to really see the city - went to Seoraksan too! So your experience is similar to mine - first time since the 80s. I can't wait to go back and spend more time at these places! Thanks again for watching ❤️
Loved this! Just subscribed. 🤍
Thank you so much for subscribing! Yay!
Haii
thank you for sharing! loved your blog and IG and now this!
Hello!! Yes! Trying new things and different ways of storytelling. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤️
Could you do small, non tourist locations of NYC that you think are unique? I’d love to see the places that only the locals know!
Hi! That's a good idea! Will definitely keep in mind as we get out more this summer and Fall - thank you for watching ❤️
How wonderful to find you on here too! So love your vision :)
I am trying new things! 🥰
❤❤
This is so chill, and clean, and crisp and classy. Which is the complete opposite of life here. It’s also nice to imagine that I knew how to cook. 😅
Life is hectic here too! But can be chill in small moments - I think that's the best we can strive for :)
Stay healthy !!!
🥰 thank you
