100 SUNS (experimental short film)
"100 Suns" is an experimental short film made from 15 years of sun footage. Through the kinetic editing of multiple camera formats, viewers journey through tranquil mornings, blazing afternoons, and ethereal sunsets, witnessing the timeless dance of light and shadow. At its heart, "100 Suns" is a love letter to the sun, a celebration of its warmth, its radiance, and its unyielding presence in our lives.
This short played with a live orchestra performance at Film Score Fest at the History Theatre in Saint Paul in 2023.

"11, 11" is a short video of winter and summer in Loring Park, Minneapolis, which was filmed on March 11, 2023 and August 11, 2023. Chimes of the park and the resonant bells of the cathedral play in the background of a windy snowfall. The grain is certainly too much for YT's compression. One needs to watch this at 4K in order to effectively get 720p quality because of all the compression artifacts.

very neat, haunting. Do the shots or anything in them have any meanings? I can't tell if I'm too blind to see a message being conveyed or if I'm looking for one that isn't there. Either way, a lot of cool concepts in this video. Not sure why youtube put this on my main page as I don't think I've watched anything similar, but I'm not complaining.
Honestly, I’m not sure, but it could be a message from the lack of meaning? Perhaps something like an ‘appreciate nature, take a look around you,’ but that seems too simple for everything that’s going on here. I’m not sure..

Pretty underexposed but some nice shots in there. Would have been better to expose a little higher and then drag the exposure down after scanning
Yeah, on the day there wasn't much light there. But I suppose there probably was a little room there.

Great video, quick question was this stored in a freezer and how old was the film?
I bought it from someone who had is stored, and then I never stored it in a fridge or freezer. Probably at least 8 years old upon filming.
