I actually had a hobbywing xe10 stock spec and was trying to upgrade to the reedy 510r witch is an awesome esc if you can find a working one. unfortunately this one was dead. so I dropped the dime on the xd10 for it

If I remember correctly I used a velcro battery strap through the bed. and the stock body posts on the front

yes , it took a lot of fiddling to get it to work at it's best. it was never perfect though

@@MyRClive havent had time to try it yet. And not only that, but my daughter felt so bad about the grandkids ruining it that she has bought me a huge one for my birthday ( which I haven't had time to use yet either🙂).

I didn't get a chance to run it on that esc. and my maclan failed after the first test run. But I did hear that they had a bad run and had to recall some or somthing like that..

it's not bad for an rtr . but yes the other brands out faster motors on their rtrs

they are the drag car arms so more narrow than the stockers

the rear links were from internal threaded rod assortment from Amazon

Hey Thank You ... But the secret is that this is a leftover crawler body that just looked way to cool to give away or trash .

Ohh man I really cant remember .. but It was a smaller pinion than stock probably started 3 or 4 teeth smaller and checked temps .

That sounds like a good setup . If i hadn't of sold this truck i may have tried out some of your settings. I just ordered a used base camp from ebay . so ill be doing crawling again very soon

@@MyRClive when your ready, up the power game. Mine is around 80 on 2s, and will run up to 7s. The math works out to around 240, but no way can I get that as lite as it is. On 3s it flies.

I haven't installed the electronics yet ,,, so its coming soon . Don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications , ill be doing that install pretty soon , and then a running vid afterward.

Oh that's not to bad .. this was literally the first run . and this was with the $45 quicrun 10bl120 and a rocket power 8.5 motor i think.. thanks for commenting . we should be running this car more now that the rain out here in Cali is starting to subside

Ohhh my dude i'm sorry to hear your having trouble with them . unfortunately all i have for advise is to double check that the mode you are in is supposed to have the lights you want and to refer to the manufactures instructions . i don't think I have a unit here to look at for you
