    What I see is 2nd man double committing and even taking the ball from 1st man and then NOT rotating back to 3rd man. Putting the entire team out of position. The best thing to do when learning rotation in 3s is just to leave 1st man alone to do whatever they want with the ball, be it fake the opposition, dribble or smack the ball upfield. You have to have faith in your team, or don't play with them.. If you're going to take the ball from 1st man every time 1st man isn't doing the play you want, then how is that going to succeed?! Play 2nd man and wait to pick up the play where 1st man leaves it. Then it's your turn to be left alone to do what you want with the play and THEN rotate back to 3rd man. The current 3rd man can see the whole field and is wanting to come forward to support 1st man or be 1st man.

    The hardest struggle in diamond is that sure most people are capable at shooting the ball, saves etc. But like 30% of players don’t understand rotation and spam “what a save!” After forcing a bad touch and putting you in an awkward save position

  • @Toxic664
    @Toxic664 Місяць тому

    11:32 I think it would've been better to keep shadowing more on the outside and just let the opponent hit the ball into the corner instead of challenging. Then grab the boost and either clear it to the other corner or along the wall like he did. Nellei knows that his teammate is behind the ball so if that ball goes over him and bounces to the middle after the challenge, his teammate wouldn't have time to defend from the guy in the middle, considering he decided to rotate all the way to backpost.

    POV: I'm plat 3 l have better air mechs than most my rank. I can consistently air dribble, ground pinch, kucxir pinch or however you spell it, and rarely double tap. I can also flick and fake and dribble decently. HOW HAVE I NOT HIT DIAMOND. These are probably basic D2, D3 Mechs. I do play passive as I pass the ball to my teammates but they end up whiffing or own goaling.

    Saying it’s wrong because you don’t understand the play then make a UA-cam video to show everyone you don’t understand it is madness

  • @user-lk4mm8rx7i
    @user-lk4mm8rx7i 2 місяці тому

    It’s bazaar. You say your a passive player / coach but encourage players to rotate off the ball rather then a on the ball rotation in defence? Why? This error gives space for the opponent, ( 7.10 ) the tm8 will now have to challenge head on as last defender leaving your net open with the player who was literally next to the ball struggling to get back, if you do this you leave the ball behind giving space for the attacker to build a play unhindered after you leave the ball you were just next to which you almost never want to do if you can avoid it. You say he does nothing wrong when he dives head on into challenges and looses then concedes that’s not ok at all ( 21:23 ) I don’t think you understand how to win the ball in game else you would not be telling people to play like this forcing the ball. Win the ball in defence, take the ball to free space to build your play it’s that simple. How you choose to do that is up to you but keep in mind you will loose the game if you dive into a head on challenge in defence, keep a on the ball rotation in defence that limits the opponents space and will stop them having space to build a play and importantly eliminates the need for your tm8 to leave the goal and challenge the ball you were just next to leaving the goal open. Stop being crazy and think logically, there are so many ways to win the ball in defence stop challenging head on and think about how to get you opponents into a good position for you to attack from defence this style play you are coaching won’t get players far

    • @CrackedZac
      @CrackedZac 2 місяці тому

      lol I’ve been playing for like.. 8 years and have been gc2+ for.. what season are we in? 15?.. for about… like 20 seasons lol (season 9 pre f2p I got my first Gc tag)… I think I know how to play the game. You can disagree with my decision making that’s cool, but it’s not because it doesn’t work. There’s an aggressive, more mechanically inclined approach to the game that opens up more opportunities to get scored on which I would describe as the method of rotation you’re referring to. And then there’s a safer approach where you’re really just punishing your opponents on mistakes, over aggression, and maintained pressure which is how I like to play. The point of rotation behind your teammate (away from the ball) and not chasing down the play was (in much detail) literally explained for about 5 minutes in this video. When you rotate behind your teammate, they can challenge and it doesn’t matter if they get beat because you’re behind them. If they challenge before you’re in a position where you can collect the aftermath of the play - that’s a miss play. If you’ve left your teammate so far in a 1v1 or 2v1 that you’re never able to get back to help them before the play comes on net - then that was an overcommit by you on your previous challenge as you shouldn’t be leaving your teammate for so long, OR.. it could mean your teammate was too far back when you were challenging and they isolated themselves by not being able to follow up the ball that got past you.. I think you’re the one who doesn’t understand my friend.

      @@CrackedZac it’s not that i didn’t understand what you meant, it’s clear to see what your telling people. You explain your pov in the video you don’t need to explain again, it’s not a contest I’m not flexing on you but It’s that your points and advise create a situation that leads to conceding goals. You’re actively telling people things that make it harder for them. That’s it. Your play style is to force the ball and that will only take you so far it’s GOLD PLAT game sense with added mechs carrying you. Thanks for the defence flex on me. Then attack people who know better. You’re the only one making you look bad you do that yourself because 50% of the time it works every time right? Not wanting to give you help but if you did indeed know any other way of playing or handling the situations you speak about in replays you would have spoke about it and explained it but you miss these situations / opportunities where you could helped people then give bad advice. That’s the truth I’m not making it up it’s on all your videos. If you didn’t have mechs where would you be. I’m not insulting you just stating facts. If you truly want to help the RL community you would have shown alternative plays. I’m sorry if you think I’m insulting you directly I’m not. RL needs more creators but on the flip side if players get tired of loosing they will stop playing. Your do give good advise on corner play but the rotation and challenge work is what will lead to concessions. Sorry!

      @CrackedZac 2 місяці тому

      @@user-lk4mm8rx7iI tend to purposely not point out every single mistake a person makes in their analysis because that isn’t helpful and would result in a 2 hour long analysis + information overload where now they come away learning nothing. I only point out things relevant to the rank that are the most important mistakes to fix to improve past where they are and I only tell people how to play out situations in ways that are close to their skill level of being able to execute. I could point out 20+ more SMALL minute details in every analysis I make if I wanted to full proof myself from people like you who jump to conclusions about my knowledge of the game but I don’t because I’m actually trying to coach people - which means knowing how best to help them. I could tell a champ 1 player to twist flip are dribble flip reset off their back wall because it’s the optimal play, but for them it would not be and would result in a worse outcome. I could tell someone to MENA flip into a challenge because it’s safer and faster to recover out of but again a champ 1 is going to struggle with this idea. Now if a higher level player like a GC or SSL posted an analysis I would point out every small detailed mistake because I know they are actually capable of implementing the information and understand the concept of what I’d be saying at that point. Throwing 100 different mistakes people made in their game at them is not going to help them or anyone.

    I watch all your videos. You give something extra comparing to other videos. I will try to submit a paid analysis in the future (currently playing on xbox and will have to play 2v2 with a friend that plays on computer)

    Just to clarify some things since I ended up missing the live: 6:14 I shouldn't have missed this chance (i probably did that cause my ground skills are mid) 10:05 thats a bad habit cause I always hope to the boost to spawn 19:40 defenitely the ball wasn't mine 24:10 bro lmao this one i thought he was missing (another bad habit of underestimate my opponents ) 32:05 you got me lol and the last one is that i dont usually try to get demos so dont worry that's not a bad habit i had been trying to improve by -picking up more pads -rotating out -trying to not understimate my opponents -being more patience

    2:47 the guy behind you is supposed to go for boost since you’re closer to the play

    • @CrackedZac
      @CrackedZac 2 місяці тому

      It’s ok for either player to cheat in that position. I make sure to point my wheels toward the boost so that the person behind me knows that I’m going that way. By that logic you can argue that I should go for the boost because I’m closer to the boost than the person behind me, behind offset slightly more to the left than them on spawn. It’s a fair trade either way so it really doesn’t matter as long as you let the person behind you know which way you’re going

      @@CrackedZac Everything is relative to where the ball is, not where the boost is. Ball is more important than boost the force ball is priority. If you look at kickoffs how you look at any other situation and foundationally apply the same knowledge, 2nd man in this situation is the person in a better position to positively effect the ball. He’s closer than the other guy, and they’re both far enough away from the immediate future of kickoff for the answer to be simple. We are splitting hairs though
