    Nope! I'm already confused by how you're holding two separate colors, one to each hand 😅 as a crocheter-turned-knittee it does not compute

      It really is very easy (we promise), and it helps keep the yarn separate so that it doesn't get tangled. It may take you a little longer to get comfortable with it, but it was a game changer for us!

    You've twisted your stitches! By putting your needle into the MIDDLE of the V and capturing the LEFT side of the V - you're turning your stitches so that they're mounted backward. It's possible at minute 5:15 to see that you've twisted the stitches. The normal way is to catch the front / right leg of the V - that way the stitches mounted in the normal way. Thanks for taking the time to do a video - always generous - but I gave this one a thumbs down.

      @@davekelly5678 Yes, once you have 8 or 9 stitches (depending on the size you're making), you'll cut the yarn to give yourself enough of a tail to wind through the remaining stitches and also weave into the inside of the hat to secure it. This video is what you need for the final step of the hat 😁

    When you knit, right side versus wrong side where should the work be placed on you, I get what side is which, but please knit each side so we know what the work should be facing. Facing up and away or facing down towards your body?

    • @rowhouseyarn4300
      @rowhouseyarn4300 3 роки тому

      Hi there - So the right side is the side that faces out and away from your body. In the stockinette stitch pattern, that means the side with the 'v's would be facing out and seen by people. Make sense? If we can help make things more clear, please let us know!
