The prophet didn't like the word slavery and he disliked keeping any slave in his possession. Also, slavery was totally abolished in Islam and so Yes he did, and this caused conflict with his wives and Muhammad had to promise not to do it again. But then ALLAH sent a verse in the Quran at the beginning of the chapter of Tahrim saying that this was alright. The verse is read as "Oh prophet why do you forbid that which Allah says is lawful for you”. And so the chapter Tahrim merits the significance.

Your answer is very, very logical.... The Prophet's interest in having sex with a beautiful Egyptian woman and the shame of his women after revealing this and revealing a verse from God... All this is supposed to make me a better Muslim. So what happens to a person's mind!!!!!!!
