Always enjoyed that drive. In early 60’s, Grandparents bought a little summer cabin at top of Bluebird Hill (Woodland Park). Cabin still in the family. Cripple Creek has changed a lot since those days 60 years ago.

Hey there!! About how long of that trail is double track before you hit those steps? My wife has an "off road" wheelchair and we've done a few trails around black forest, Cheyenne Mt State Park, and Fox Run Regional Park. Wondering if you could throw any suggestions my way?

we hike a lot of the same trails. I have hiked and camped for a decade+ on the lost creek side of the lost creek wilderness often. I still wish to do the entire loop. this summer I plan to explore the hankins pass side. Was always told its steeper, so i guess it kept me away. I went up last year about this time, but there was so much snow melt the trail was essentially a small creek and everything was just too muddy.

Really cool video. Videos like this help me find my way in new climbs.
