These kids are extremely lucky! It’s in my bucket list, I’d like to sit down and meet this legend one day and just chop it up. I’m a soccer guy but I’m also a massive boxing fan. I was born and raised in Lesotho, but I relocated to the United States in 1998 and I’ve lived here ever since. It’s an enclave (completely surrounded by South Africa). South Africa has produced world class boxers. Peter Mathebula, Baby Jake Matlala, Dingaan Thobela, Welcome Ncita, Sugar Boy Malinga etc etc. when John Tate won his world heavyweight title he beat Kallie Knoetze and Gerrie Coetzee in what was then South Africa under apartheid rule. Those fights were watched by more than 80,000 fans. So my love for boxing goes way, way back. Obviously I’ve followed Roy’ career and he is a generational talent. He had everything. I can go on and on. I’ve already subscribed, and I’ll keep on following this channel.

It's almost impossible to express in words how good Roy was. He is the most gifted "athlete" in the history of humanity in any sport. Way better boxers like the great James Toney couldn't land a glove on him because he was just such an OUTRAGEOUSLY gifted athlete. In his prime which was from 1993/2000 Roy was UNBEATABLE.

Should had never went back down to light Heavy to fight Taver,should had told him if he wanted it to meet you at Cruiserweight or Heavyweight. Could had also demand that after the First fight with Taver,but instead you stayed there fighting him at Light Heavyweight again. You broke down too much(too fast)weight(Muscle)from Heavyweight and Paid the price chin got exposed.

Your speed was your Everything, and once it slowed down a notch and you got caught and it turned out that your chin was decent but not special, jab wasn't used enough, chin too often exposed but your Speed allowed you to get away with all that till it Didn't.
