Assyrian Song
A cool song from the album 'Assyrian Golden Stars'. I don't know the name of the artist so if any of you know please tell me :D
Also the photo is from Cambridge page. It shows two Barwari Assyrian men dressed in traditional Tyari folk clothing.

I am Benipal from India. Our elders say that Ashurbanipal is our ancestor. We all have come from Iraq, Iran.
Wow bro really? How is that possible… and your name is. Benipal, pure assyrian name
Tell me more brother, how many are you in India like that? Do you know when your ancestprs went to India?
@@ashuraya2779 Ashurbanipal was a famous ruler of Assyrians, his descendants gradually reached Iran, Iraq, Sindh, Punjab (India, Pakistan), Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. They were called Benipal in Punjab and Bahniwal and Beniwal in other places. Today, these gotras are living among the Jats. You can also see this information on Wikipedia.
@@ashuraya2779 Our history is seen as connected to the history of Iran. You will not be able to differentiate between Assyrians and Benipals. It is difficult to identify physically by colour and face. However, if a DNA test is done, it will be proved.

Ok...I'm croatian catholic and I love Assyrian songs and your beautiful culture and history... I love this song!!! I need the translation please...
This song is very hard to translate because it contains terms that assyrians have stopped using after 1920-1960s, for example in the second line he says “simbele tre taqe lbareli pthele” if I can translate it then it would be (his moustache has been rolled twice) but that’s just a simple way of translating it because I don’t really know what “lbareli” means my grandfather would have definitely translated that easily for u.
@@Yusgfftag Very close but there is no such word as "lbareli" but the word is "Mareh" meaning "owner" . "simbele tre taqe, Marehli pthele" which simply means " a moustache of two branches, it's owner has twirled" and we still use all these words, it's dialects that allow for certain words to be used some tribes do not use the same words.
@@VisionInTears I actually didn’t know that, it’s owner would definitely be translated as Marehe or Marah Diyehe in the Lower Tyari dialect specifically Ashitha.
@@Yusgfftag Indeed true, I am Tyaraya Min algepa and my mum is ashetneatha.
@@Yusgfftag Indeed it’s very hard song to translate! You right in that line "simbele tre tage Ibareli pthele" ibareli would mean upright so translated his thick moustache is twisted up!

Anatolia belongs to the Greeks, Armenians and Assyrians! Greetings from a Pontic Greek in Australia, much love to my Anatolian brothers and sisters! May God grant us justice for our Homeland! <3 <3 <3
Amen bro 🙏✝✝✝
@JustaUser I agree brother, but our focus was on the Anatolian peninsula or Anatolian plateau, is fully under the control of the Turks and they changed its name to Turkey. I'm aware of the Kurds and Arabs genocides but the large portion of the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek genocide happened at the hands of the Turks. It was a total ethnic and religious cleansing in the name of Islam's god Allah, against us the indigenous people and occupied our lands.
I agree that
@@Ramy_Ramz man get the hell out of here LMFAOOOO GO BACK TO IRAN AND STOP LISTENING TO OUR MUSIC
Pontic Greeks, your music is literally the same as ours and I love it because I can dance Assyrian dances to it, and it makes me feel so connected to you guys. I wish we all protected each other in the Anatolian plateau.

Wel done tanar
I was born in Qamishli north east of Syria where Assyrians Kurds and Arabs are located and spend my childhood in that amazing atmosphere of peace, tolerance, healthy clean food and viggies, love and joy, before ISIS backed by west fake democracy ruined everything.
