Twin Peaks by Cella - Dual resonant filter for VCV Rack inspired by Rob Hordijk's design
Twin Peaks is a dual resonant filter inspired by the design of Rob Hordijk's TwinPeak filter and Klangbauköln's Twin Peak Resonator. The design is straightforward: the same input signal is passed through two resonant low-pass filters, A and B, and their outputs are subtracted, producing a band-pass response with two peaks. This design allows the filters to 'pass' each other, meaning it doesn't matter which filter has the lower or higher cutoff frequency - the signal still passes through.
While you can use this module for filtering sound sources, it is best suited for being pinged with a stepped signal at relatively high resonance, which produces pleasant percussive sounds. The module offers a few internal modulation options, such as frequency modulation using the incoming signal and cross-modulation of filter A's frequency by the output of filter B. There are also multiple inputs that support external signal modulation.

Модуль очень крутой. Есть баг небольшой, когда полифония - после перезагрузки патча значения аутпута в красную зону вылетают. Времени нет сейчас выяснять когда точно происходит, а так багрепорт бы сделал, просто вспомнил
Спасибо! И спасибо за баг репорт. А какая версия плагина у вас? Позавчера вышел патч 2.0.4 который фиксит похожую ошибку (вылет в красную зону) когда число threads > 1. Может он закроет и багу с которой столкнулись вы - с последней версией у меня не получается ее воспроизвести.

Hi Boudy, thanks for the feedback! Perhaps you'll get something close to it with Note Echo, provided with Core library: Core Library -> Devices -> Midi Effects -> Max Midi Effects -> Note Echo? It's a deceptively simple midi effect, that potentially can get you into territory you want. As for Mite, I'm in active development of update, with more convenient controls and higher reactivity.

Joshua also works with his own system called Guilt, you have any clue about that one? And is there a way I can control several midi devices at once with the Mite step knob. I know I can assign an external midi knob from a device to all of the Mite steps but would love to control my whole track with one knob (like I would put it on my master but that isn't a midi device) haha sry I'm not the best programmer.
@@MegaBoudewijn Regarding Guilt, I only saw a video about his process, couldn't grasp what it does exactly, but curious as well. Controlling devices: option #1 is to set up mite on one midi track and all devices you want to control on separate others, and configure them to receive midi from Mite's track: MIDI from Mite, Monitor: In - something like that. Option #2: there are plenty midi send / receive devices on maxforlive.com, you can direct stream of notes from Mite wherever you want.
