Hello! I am currently doing intensity profile along the filament traced along chromosome thread. In matlab extension I can only get intensity profile after I slice the filament into individual spots and each spot mean intensity is outputed all along the chromosome filament in the matlab extension. 1st question- the problem I’m facing in above method is that the spots are not equidistance which results in some data escape on filament and also if I increase the filament size and slice it into spots, i expect the individual spot to measure the intensity proportional to the spot size but that’s not happening. Can you please help me with this? 2nd question-Is it possible to get the intensity profile along the filament without the need to break the filament into individual spots ?

I have images of neurospheres which have clusters of cells located very close to each other. Many of these cells are dead cells.I want to know the number of live cells in each image. What is the best way to do this? Currently, I am creating a surface around all the cells and manually cutting out the dead cells from the surface using pencil tool to make orthogonal cuts. I am unable to apply many filters as a mass of cells (live and dead) are being recognized as a single surface

Is it possible to import movie formats (e.g. .avi / .mov) into Imaris?

in 0:52 the spots are localized outside surface(distance >0), why they are still selected when the window is -3 to 0?
Is this select the shortest distance of track that touch inside surface, then all the objects belong to that track selected, even when at sometime the spots on these track are outside surface?
If this is the case, then the droplist icon for "Shortest Distance" should there be a bottom arrow, because this is the selection by track
