Probably the most boring drive you can take, nothing but ag land…didn’t see people or a shopping center for six hours
Looks like a nice area. Roads are really good there.
Yes, that road was built only two years ago. We would not have considered that area if they hadn’t built the road.
It’s to traffic in the road
Thank You for sharing your long trip. It was beautiful !!.
Thank you!
I missed it I'm waiting for this from weeks 😭😭😭😭
Crazy fact: The majority of the first 9 minutes of this video are solely just the City of Los Angeles lol (Minus parts of Burbank and Glendale)
(and yes, most of the San Fernando valley is within LA city proper limits. Many folks don't know that.)
L.A does have the most land area than any other city in the US. (New York has less land because it is divided into 5 separate boroughs)
how long it took? any tips?
With the side trips to Twin Falls, Arches National Park, and Mesa Verde National Park, it took us 4 days to get to our destination in Texas. We spent our time enjoying the stops along the way. Driving back to Washington from Texas took us 3 days.
@@WanderingJnD on the way back po did you have stop over? or straight?
@@JQCHealthyFit-rc2km Yes we spent a night in Phoenix, AZ and Sacramento, CA on the way back.
@@WanderingJnD how much po ang budget one way ? plus gas food and hotel?
Reminds me of the time I drove a bus from Sacramento to Los Angeles, it was my regular run. As we were leaving one morning I guy got on and said he need to go to Hollywood. I told him you're on the right bus we're going to Los Angeles, and took off, he started screaming NO I'm going to Hollywood, before I could explain to him, that Hollywood was just an area in Los Angeles. He jumped off the bus when I was doing 10 miles an hour, rolled around on the concrete. I stopped to see if he was all right and he just gave me the finger. I didn't think any more about it, until the next day. I was on my regular run from Sacramento to LA again, when I see this guy with a bandage head hitchhiking, holding up a sign that says Hollywood or bust. I'll say this he must have busted his head when he fell. And I always wondered if he got a ride with anybody did they tell him they are going to Los Angeles. If so he might have jumped out. This happened in April 1976 but I remember it like yesterday
Hey wanderers! I don't know how to get hold of you, or if you'll ever see this, but I miss you guys! You went to the Philippines, and shot a beautiful vid, and i'm curious if you're going to retire there, or already have? There's a huge community that would appreciate your vids on the subject, if you desire to make them. Personally, I'm planning to go there for good in Sept. Just ideas if you want to continue with UA-cam. I'm also in Wa.and love your local stuff. Again, miss your sweet channel. Bye.
Hi! Thanks for appreciating our small channel. We will definitely continue this as time allows. Retiring in the Philippines has always been a consideration, and if we do, we may even continue with the occasional vlog. Sometimes, though, it seems that everyone is a vlogger in the Philippines, so I don’t know if I can create unique videos if we live there. We’ll see. Thanks again for your comment. All the best in your retirement plans.
Anong buwan kayo nag drive?
March po.
Thanks
How long does it take to go to Sacramento from L.A.?
About 5 hours.

How long was your drive? Considering driving with kids
It took us 18 hours of driving. With kids, you probably need two overnights.
Thank you for the video uploaded 😊
My pleasure!😊
Nice video
Did you drove on highway 80 most of the time
We took 80 and then 84 towards Ogden, UT.
@1:03:44 is when you go from 80 to 84
In which month you travelled
We took this trip April last year.
They look like portobello. Are they edible?
According to PictureThis app they’re called pluteaceae mushroom. Some mushrooms in this group are edible but have unpleasant taste.
Fantastic!
This is amazing 😌😌😌
Nice!

Missed you guys! You need to wander again!
I know l kind of miss it already!😄 It was such a cold and dreary winter though. We didn’t travel too much. l’ll be wandering in the Philippines this summer. I hope to get some interesting videos there.
Stunning!
Truly paradise😍can’t wait to be out there this year
Wow that s so beautiful
Thank you!😊
What a refreshing view! Cherry 🌸 blossoms❤
Love it when the sun is out!😊 This is just a minute or two to our place.
great video ... what time of year did you go ? Im there in a few weeks... :-))
Hi! We went there early October. Should be perfect by the time you go there weather wise. Have fun!☺️
Nice
Beautiful 💕
Thank you for the video. We plan to do the opposite trip. How long was this trip? I didn’t see a stop or overnight
You’re welcome! And thanks for checking out my video as well. For most drivers it would only take 1 overnight. It took us two (Topaz, CA & Roseburg, OR) because we didn’t take the most direct route. About 7 hours of driving each day not including rest stops.
@@WanderingJnD sweet! I would like to do the same and not take the most direct trip. We are new to this road trip thing, as we are from Hawaii and we can’t drive more than 50 miles and our road trip is done here LOL. Appreciate your reply. Stay blessed Aloha
My daughter bless her heart resides in ft lewis and I'm thinking about driving. Thank you for the video let's get into it.
Go for it!😊
I was wondering about you two! We had an ice storm yesterday, but no snow.
Whoa..how’s everything going there? Saw the news about 700K homes without power in Michigan!😧
@Wandering JnD Chicago and several suburbs were impacted with power outages. Falling tree limbs om power lines are a factor, too. We had high winds and sleet. Our power lines are now under ground.
