@@roberttraylor1392 thank you Robert I Will tell Vinnie to post some more like that thank you for watching Robert.
awesome video enjoyed it vey much keep up the great work
Thank you Robert Hope you had a good weekend.
I visit your channel and watch your videos. Your videos are very amazing and helpful. You are making videos with a good niche. But, I noticed a few areas where I could help optimize your videos to reach a larger audience. Would you be open to discussing this further?
@@AlAmin-m8i7c I just started this channel for fun if you notice I never ask for subscribers in the videos I just post my video and hope it reaches the people that really enjoy this stuff it doesn't matter to me if I have 100 subscribers or 500 subscribers or 5,000 subscribers I'm not looking for the income from UA-cam I'm just having fun and hoping that I am helping people like you said but thank you for watching and thank you for reaching out and commenting I really enjoy this kind of stuff.
@@ResidentialRepairs Wow, I appreciate
thxs for sharing, propress has its place for sure...so does shark-bites
Yes I keep a large supply of shark bites for places that I cannot get into with the pro press or a torch in fact I put a shark bite yesterday on the bottom of that circulating pump where we cut it I was going to solder a cap but as you noticed I ran out of acetylene I think my valve has a slow leak because the last time I used it there was still at least a half a bottle. Thank you for watching and sharing we appreciate it have a great weekend what's left of it.
Good job 😀 I had my acytelene out today !!!
Yes I'm going to have my tank replaced I believe the valve has a slow leak but I'm going to swap it out on Monday tomorrow and get a full one thank you for watching Josh I appreciate it.
@ResidentialRepairs your welcome make sure you use some soapy water to check all your connections to make sure there's nothing leaking acutelene has a garlic like odor to it to so if there's ever a leak you might smell it to😀
@@Hvac-dude to be honest I always loved the smell of acetylene I don't know why but I should get in a habit of checking it like you said because I know I had a leak that bottle was half full the last time I used it thank you Josh I'm going to start testing and almost every time that I shut it down it's not like I use it on a daily basis so I should test it each time. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday talk to you soon.
@ResidentialRepairs for sure buddy 😀
thxs for sharing...

Thank you for subscribing and watching have a great weekend.
happy halloween awesome video i like how you picked that lock lol
Thank you Robert Hope you have a great weekend. The locks for The front doors and the dead bolts are a little harder but it seems to be easier than drilling them out, I always break two or three drill bits.
Hey vince that saw is called a cut off saw its very neat little grinder they come in handy for stuff like that hope you guys had a great halloween 😊
Thank you Josh I hope you had a great Halloween as well and hope you even have a better weekend.
Was an axe used to cut the door? Cheap owners got what they paid for. Have you ever used the Hinge Buddy, you just slip it over a hinge and pull on it and helps to align door/lock striker, I use them on big heavy hospital doors and cuts down on me grinding strike plates.
You are so right they did get what they paid for and no I've never tried that I am going to look that up thank you for the recommendation thank you for watching Hope you have a great Halloween and the weekend as well.
I was waiting for you to take the last seat out? You never did! LMAO

NEVER ! mix bleach with anything EVER ! except WATER ! . YOUR NOT BEING INNOVATIVE YOUR BEING A FOOL I'M SICK OF SOCIETY BECOMING SO COMPLACENT WAKE UP SHEEP
You sound like my ex-wife she use to call me a fool all the time but I've never been called a sheep. The item that we mixed bleach with already had bleach in it so I wasn't too worried but thank you for watching and commenting and looking out for us Hope you have a great week.
@@ResidentialRepairs wake up sheep , think ur innovative and complacent was for society not just for you personally the never mix bleach with anything is for you and society and when it comes to fool something serious needs to be said about that action because it needs to be put into perspective when anyone says bleach and mix in the same sentence I immediately have visions of entire families dead (witch never had to happen) because someone decided to clean with a chemical weapon that has been used in war before and banned by the Geneva convention because of how horrific chemical weapons can be , thanks for the like and ❤️ on my comment
no horse playing while working with live wires, RESPECT ELECTRICITY!
You are right no argument there thank you for watching and commenting.
It keeps me frosty, thanks Father😊
We have that same water heater and we change that control box at least 1-2x a year. Still under warranty but we pay for someone to install it each time.
Yes they had several years of bad thermocouplers and gas valves it's unfortunate for you. Hopefully one day you'll get a good one rather than them trying to get rid of all their old ones they're probably just sending you all their defects I'm not saying they're used but they are new but they're still defective and you only get one or two years out of them hopefully they'll get rid of those and one day you'll get a new one. Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting Hope you had a great weekend.
It never rains on California 😁
Thank you for watching Hope you had a great weekend.
Your lucky it's hard to find a good gal like al 😁
Thank you so much she is very special to me. Thank you for noticing Hope you had a great weekend as well.
Nice job. You guys in California are unlucky you have to use those stupid low NoX water heaters. Where I am in AZ I’ve never seen a gas water heater like that. They are all the regular style gas water heaters which are much easier to work on and troubleshoot.
@@everythinghomerepair1747 Yes I don't like them either I used to have the one like you have and so did everybody else until I guess maybe the last six seven years when they made these mandatory they're very difficult to work on thank you for watching and commenting Hope you're having a great weekend.
awesome video and you prices a reasonable and fair and nice of him to tip you wife and son keep up the great work
Thank you for participating it kind of helps me know that I'm in the right area and yes I was really shocked when they tipped Alicia and Vinnie Hope you have a great weekend Robert.
and here im thinking vinnie is slacking until 30 mins into the video 😄 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Yes sometimes he does appear to be sluggish and he needs a kick in the ass to get him going but then after that he does pretty good thank you so much for watching and hope you have a great weekend.
And thank you for the happy birthday wishes my daughter appreciates it I showed it to her.
Is tipping normal? That was nice of customer. Good vid
No it's not normal it's seldomly happens. The last tip I received was about 2 years ago and it was $20 thank you for watching and participating in the comments.
Great video! Thanks.
Thank you for watching and commenting have a great upcoming weekend.
I'm an HVAC contractor but hated doing kitchen work when younger, too greasy, cooks running over you, owners wanting quick fix for as little as possible, company avoided asian, hindu and some Mexican restaurants, extremely cheap.
You are so right when we were in there talking to the manufacturer The management kept turning up the music even though I asked him to keep it down while we were there almost every time I had to go to them and ask him to take his lower the music while we're on the phone I get it the music is part of the experience for their customers but we were trying to help him out of a bind. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel.

Bye code u need a in-use-cover
Yes we have those on the truck with the clear plastic bubble but because this was a enclosed patio the owner didn't want the extra expense and normally if it was exposed to rain or something like that then I would either make them do it or walk away from the job but because it wasn't closed I let her have that one we were dealing with a 80-year-old woman and she's had rough times and it's hard to pry her away from her pocketbook so because everything was good and it was enclosed no rain's going to get to it not even any wind we decided to let her keep her plate it was in really good shape The gasket was good she just didn't want to throw it away. This is a judgment call that each contractor has to make on a individual basis as your career was forward if I would have saw any kind of hazards for her or anybody else I would have made it mandatory but thank you for watching and thank you for commenting but you are right.
I like the flat covers old type better
@@jeffbecraft7174 Yes I like the flat front myself The continuous use one sticks way out but I guess if you are using it all the time it's nice to have it but I like the flat design too.

Wow! Does she still do hockey as a hobby?
Well when she started her freshman year as a flyer with the cheer team we had no idea how much time that would require The only day she has off now are Sundays and the grades have to be kept up as well so she had to put that on the side for a while she still goes once in awhile for fun games with her friends. Thank you for asking.
Happy Holidays 👍 Mr. Vince

Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting and participating. Hope you're having a great week.
I thought you can't have anymore the bell outdoor cover?
It's under the eve and it's existing. If we were going to put a new cover then we would have put a different cover but because it is under the eve there's really no worry other than when they wash the patio off with a hose.
Nice job, as always. I really loved that oscillating tool for cutting out the opening for the new box. Pretty cool.
Thank you it really is a nice tool thank you for watching.
Is that GFCI WR? Can't see the label. Also GFCI's do not need to be grounded to function properly.
GFCI should be grounded whenever possible and if they aren't grounded sometimes they won't trip. I believe I did a video where we wired a GFCI up to a ungrounded circuit and it would not trip. If I didn't do the video yet I can't remember but if I didn't I will probably do that video and post it every time that I tried using a GFCI on an ungrounded circuit I could never get it to trip. In fact about 3 months ago I did a service call where the homeowner put his own GFCI outlets in and he couldn't get them to reset once we were able to get him a ground wire to his bathroom all went well I'm going to try to put together that video if I haven't already done it. If you Google can a GFCI be installed without a ground it states on most answers it only offers some protection not the whole spectrum.
Labeling If you install a GFCI outlet on an ungrounded circuit, you should label the outlet or cover plate to indicate that there is no equipment ground. However, there are some disadvantages to installing an ungrounded GFCI outlet, including: No protection for electronics: Electronics won't be protected if there's a ground fault. Plug-in tester won't work: A plug-in tester on an ungrounded GFCI outlet won't work.
Grounded GFCI outlets provide the best protection against damaged electronics and electrical fires. Ungrounded GFCI outlets Still provide some protection by shutting off in the event of a ground fault, but they won't protect electronics.
@@majo-ty3qq this is what we carry on the truck. Leviton GFCI Weather-Resistant Outlet, 15 Amp, Self Test, Non Tamper-Resistant with LED Indicator Light, Outdoor Locations, GFWR1-W, White a.co/d/i1vYGz0
@@ResidentialRepairs exterior outlet is required to be Weather Resistant (WR). The receptacle that was installed/replaced on the exterior wall in the video did appear to not be labeled from the manufacturer on the face of the GFCI. Thus, it's not a suitable/code compliant receptacle for that location. WR labeling has nothing to do with EGC or labels on the trim plate. It is embossed on the face of the receptacle to show that it is weather resistant. A GFCI does work in the absence of a EGC. Yes. A plug in tester will not trip a GFCI when a EGC is not connected to the GFCI. If the GFCI is not testing, with line voltage, by way of the receptacles tester, with or without a EGC, it's faulty. The advantages of a GFCI with no EGC far outweigh the disadvantages of having no EGC at the box. Won't mention the lack of an in use trim bubble. Looks like it is under some kind of roof. But still......... Electrical work is all about the code. It's all right in a book no less!! Might want to brush up on the current NEC and some basic electrical theory.
Thank you PJ for watching we appreciate it.
