Yes I did, I did the entirety of the hallway because of the length. It needed an upgrade so it didnt look so boring

I’ve actually added some to a few other locs and it’s held up pretty good and I like the texture. You can always remove them later once you get a little length.

I agree with you! I liked it to get inside the corners but I was using both my fingers and popsicle sticks which made it turn out way better!🙂

Well honestly I’ll tell you what I did that works. I had relaxer on the end when starting them so I had that issue also to deal with. However what I did once they were done, I took a small amount of sea salt in a water bottle and sprayed on my hair right before I shampooed it the first time. For me that helped to rough them up just enough that they didn’t unravel when I shampooed them. (A hairdresser trick) I retightened them often as need I. The infancy stage until they didn’t unravel any longer. I’m officially at the 15 month mark and plan to do a video soon on just this topic.

When I first removed the extensions from my locs I took a metal tipped rat tail comb and took it from the bottom until I could use ravel it and then slide the extension hair out!

@@kekeorinc2952 yes I’m thankful though that I agent had any slip at this point, but in the beginning I had to be careful. I only detox it every so often not every wash by the way.🙂

Is this hair soft? I bought some hair from locsinity and it was like brillo. Oh man!

sorry for the late response...when i first started them, some of them were thick from me having thick hair, so i changed it to the 2 point rotation once ik did some trial and error. It was just me figuring this thing out lol

@@KySouthernBelle I’m just trying it understand. My hair definitely in the back and the sides. The top is kinda thin.

@@simplesweetjoy16 the good thing about starting locs as you give it time, they will thicken up..it took a little time for my sides to fill in to a point i wasn't feeling self conscious about them, but I made it there. You will too! :)
