Norton ES2 at Olivers Mount Barry Sheen road race
Taken on board a featherbed framed Norton ES2 bored and stroked to 640CC. This is 3rd of 4 videos taken during the parade laps at the Barry Sheen Road Race festival held at Olivers Mount, International road race circuit Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England on June 15th 2013.

Norton ES2 at Aske Hall Motorcycle Sprint 2012

Middlesborough and District Motor Club first ever sprint at Aske Hall near Richmond UK. Restricted to Pre 1973 Motorcycles. All had a brilliant day, hope there's many more at this new venue. Video Bike is a 1958 featherbed frame ES2 single. Engine has been bored and stroked to 640cc and running on methanol.
Omg...what a wicked ride (and rider!!!). The meanest sound out of a Norton I've ever heard!

HI Micheal, tried to upload a picture of the bike but failed! It has a home made crank at 110 stroke, home made Barrel at 86mm bore (Manx piston), home made much stronger crankcases, ES2 Iron head reprofiled and valve sizes changed. Comp ratio nearly 15:1 running on methanol. Many hours in the workshop and good fun to ride. Glad you enjoyed the video. Regards Peter

WOW what a tool, Pa Norton would be really really proud, first you blow away 2 strokes, and then a racing Honda, I know it's not a 79mm x 100mm ES2 but great job. Well done.
My God, so this is what it feels like to be one of the best! Controlled, gutsy riding, and what pickup on that old single, even if its now 640cc.
