This is crazy. Knowing what I do about casting technique, half of these guys' form looks way off and like they're losing control when they hit it... yet they're still well in excess of 200m. It infuriating when here I am with a very technically sound (I think) style and I can't broach 200 yards.

Much underrated the off ground in my opinion. Having not been to casting events for quite a few years I notice the rods are getting longer. The South Africans masters of the off ground traditionally did use longer rods often up to 15 feet long.
