Mark Richards has done an exceptional job of making this iconic brand a leader in its class. The attention to everything is truly incredible, redesigning a hull to be more efficient and versatile is no small task. I have for decades been a fan of Grand Banks, my late parents had a GB32 and later a GB42 classic. I liked the heritage range as they were purposeful and dependable, nothing added that wasn’t needed. The evolution of the company is impressive and a testament to the many talented people that work there. The latest generation from Grand Banks deserve to bear the name, many folk will be proud to own a Grand Banks. I don’t recall any bad models from them and they are always popular. My all time favourite was the GB 52 Europa. I think Mark Richards has added so much to the company, he’s not just a person wanting to design a boat . Mark knows what works and why, his team have been very busy as ever but the fruits of their efforts are very much appreciated. There’s technology used in the building but it’s not done to cut corners far from it, the use of wood and the effort required is still evident. From opening a drawer to the joinery it’s real class. I sincerely hope the new models that are coming along will be welcomed in the future as those of yesterday were. It’s an exciting chapter in the history of a truly iconic brand, not just a nod to the past but a testament of the company and the future it embraces.

Could you please try to get the sound a bit better, it’s difficult to hear in places. Is there a wireless microphone you could use? The only thing I would avoid is the seat right up the bow by the anchor, it encroaches into VIP cabin and spoils a perfectly cabin. I’m sure it could be made to fit better, maybe have a bulkhead and move the bed a bit to ensure proper headroom in bed. You don’t spend money on a boat only to find you cannot sit up in the main cabin. If Grand Banks can rework the other cabins they can rework this one and make it work a bit better. I wonder when the boat details will be updated on the Grand Banks website, there’s not much information on there yet.

I would prefer the tri-cabin classic as you have a full size bed in the rear cabin and the v berth style for guests plus a decent amount of space. The best Europa was the 52 which is my all time favourite of the Heritage models. You could get a GB 36 sedan so I would guess it was similar to the GB 32 but with a little extra room here and there. Boats of this size are easy to skipper and a single engine is not so hard to use if you have had the practice. The music you used was a bit unnecessary and detracted from things a bit. I think this version was popular but it would not have been my choice.

I want a Grand Banks. I'll settle for a Carver. I can afford a kayak.

Strange location for the Galley The only forward looking seating is the Helm position 'Crew/Passengers' have to sit 'sideways' on??

Thank you for another great video. I like the fact that you open up & show almost everything. The only thing that I would change would be to take out the propane stove as my friend & colleague was killed after a gas build up exploded and blew three stories of brick on top of him. But that's just my advertion to any gas (Natural or Propane). Thank you again for another great video.
